Can someone please give me an example of an outstanding lesson plan, so that I can see the elements involved and can use it as a model to help me?

I need to plan an "outstanding" lesson for a top set Year 10 French class on the topic of healthy lifestyle. The observation will be only 2 lessons before they do their speaking controlled assessment on the topic. Does anyone have any suggestions for activities?

Supplementary subject-specific guidance for ML

In many of the secondary schools visited, opportunities for students to listen to and communicate in the target language were often limited by many teachers’ unpreparedness to use it. Too often, students were not taught how to respond to everyday requests and thus routine work in the target language and opportunities to use it spontaneously were too few.

Intercultural understanding, however, was weak in the majority of the schools visited because they (pupils) did not have good opportunities to develop it. Reading was not taught beyond exercises in course books or previous examination papers and teachers made insufficient use of the wealth of authentic material that is available to develop students’ speaking, listening, writing, knowledge about language, language learning strategies and intercultural awareness.

Most of the secondary schools visited had not yet modified their Year 7 curriculum or adapted their teaching of languages to build on, and exploit, the increasing amount of work being undertaken in the primary schools from which they drew their pupils.

Ich heiße Leon und wohne in der Waldallee. Die Waldallee ist in Lehen. Lehen ist ein Stadtteil von Freiburg. Meine Straße hat keinen Gehweg. In meiner Straße gibt es viele Bäume. Bei unserem Nachbarn haben sogar schon einmal zwei Bäume gebrannt. Meine Straße ist lang und es fahren dort nicht viele Autos. Die Waldallee heißt so, weil es so viele Tannen gibt.
