M I L E S T O N E S
We started our journey as a Business School. Over the years, we realised that shift was happening in
business and society. Collaboration, design thinking, integrative learning, empathy were becoming
more critical to business success. It was important for the business school to assimilate this change.
Hence from a business school perspective, WeSchool made a conscious change to one that was more
inclusive and collaborative. The focus was co-creation - the power of “we”, and therein emerged the
identity “WeSchool”.
The journey from Welingkar to WeSchool
About the identity system:
The understated, almost undesigned
font is humble and not stately and awe
inspiring l ike typical university
identities.
The Trikon that represents body, mind &
soul and the coming together of
academics, corporate and society
looks simple but is actively a potent
symbol, constantly pushing us forward,
never stopping.
The green reminds us that green is
going to be the color and nature of all
businesses tomorrow. The color purple
gives our identity, the assurance and
solidity of a University.
The trikon

ACCREDITATIONS
The 3 years Part-Time Master’s Program is affiliated to the
University of Mumbai. You will receive a University of Mumbai
degree on successfully completing the program
In 2015, the UGC, Govt of India awarded the Institute
autonomy for the University affiliated courses, thereby
providing WeSchool the advantage to design the curriculum
that makes it practical and industry oriented.
Apart from the University of Mumbai degree that you will earn at the end of the program, you will
have a distinct advantage of completing this program from WeSchool here’s why.
Usercentric Program Design: The program is scheduled on Friday, Saturday, Sunday to make it
more convenient for working professionals to attend and participate maximum. The centrally located
campus makes it convenient for participants. The structure of program and content is updated based
on continuous feedback from all stakeholders including the executive who attend this program.
Well begun is half done Foundation Fortnight: In view
of the fact that most working professionals will need a soft
landing into an academic environment and that
participants come from diverse background, the WeSchool
has included a foundation program that is designed to
introduce participants with the pillars of business
education viz. Economics, Statistics and basics in Finance
among others. The foundation fortnight also invites noted
industry stalwarts.
WeLearn experience: The WeSchool by design involves
various forms of teaching and learning apart from lecture
style. Mock business setting and presenting that touches
upon all aspects of modern day business challenges,
collaborative learning through live case studies and
projects make the learning experience meaningful and fun.
The core philosophy being Acquisition Application and
Assimilation of knowledge (AAA).
The WeSchool PartTime Master’s Program Advantage:
Foundation Fortnight
WeLearn Retail Store at WeSchool
The Institute has optimised the autonomy advantage to include contemporary courses such as
integrated marketing communication & digital marketing, competency based HRM, financial modeling
and data warehousing, business intelligence & analytics as a part of the course. This ensures that you
are learning what is relevant and futuristic. A distinct advantage is that you can apply it from day one of
class at your workplace.
WeConnect: The Institute regularly organises guest lectures and roundtables on industry sectors.
Given that the institute has full-time programs in business analytics, media and entertainment, rural
management, finance, marketing, operations, human resource management, e-business, retail
management and business design and innovation, the institute invites a wide range of industry experts,
entrepreneurs and international faculty for seminars, panel discussions and round-table meets. As a
participant of the Part Time Master’s Program, you too will have access to several select programs that
will benefit you.
WeNext: A busy work-life usually puts working professionals in connect with the same pool of people.
The Part Time Master’s Program changes that. It expands your circle of influence and connects you to a
larger and newer group of professionals. The large alumni pool and your batch are the people who will
be defining the future leaders. The program connects you with next gen decision makers today. With
29 batches now you can imagine the WeNext connect you can leverage from now.

The above list is only indicative and there are several other roles including Entrepreneurship roles.
The program therefore helps the student to select appropriate elective courses relevant to the career track.
One other unique aspect about the program is that many of the subjects in the MIM program are aligned to
Globally recognized standards and bodies of knowledge. Some of the subjects which are so aligned are :
“It's not about money. It's about the people you have,
and how you're led.”
Steve Jobs
As a result of all the above, an MIM student who begins as a narrow technical specialist evolves into a Digital
Maestro by not only acquiring wider knowledge but also developing leadership and Design thinking and
innovation skills.

Fueling the future at WE!
WeSchool has exposed me to a broad spectrum of business. This has enabled me to view the business
from various perspectives and provide value proposition to almost every strategic HR move within my
organisation. These three years at WeSchool have cemented a strong foundation of sound knowledge,
skill and right attitude. With this knowledge, I am not only looking forward to support my organisation
but also cater the society at large. May it be the superior infrastructure, extremely humble support staff,
security or supremely experienced faculties... they all contribute to script a success story for you!
Indeed the fuel for your future growth. Cheers.

The Part Time experience at WeSchool has been fruitful. A lot of people feel that it is difficult to study
while you work but the faculty at WeSchool made it easy for me by being very co-operative and helpful.
The program has equipped me not only to gain knowledge but also instilled confidence in my life to
present to the world my ideas and thought processes. The opportunity to learn beyond books through
sharing of actual professional experiences and examples has given me an edge to excel in my field.
Initially I was hesitant to take up this course as I was not confident about managing work and study at
the same time. But today I can confidently say that I took a right decision and I would encourage all the
working class people to take up this course and integrate the learnings in their professional life too.
Also, I go by the saying that knowledge never goes waste.

There is a famous a proverb “Knowledge is Power” and this is what you start gaining in WeSchool with
the strong support and desire of a committed faculty. I now feel confident to stand in front of the world
as I have acquired industry as well as book knowledge and have a strong network of friends and faculty
who are ready to support and guide us throughout our life. There is an immense personal development
which will help me throughout my life and I wish to thank the faculty whole heartedly for investing their
time in grooming and shaping us to face the future challenges.

WeSchool gave me a fresh perspective and a different outlook.
Being a working professional definitely helped me understand things better. In my opinion, a part - time
course really offers overall development of an individual instead of focusing only on academics. This is
a platform which not only offers learning from faculty members but from peers too. Be it the real time
challenges faced by students at workplace, case studies discussed at length, lectures from industry
stalwarts, brainstorming sessions or group assignments, suddenly learning becomes a lot more
‘hands on’.
‘The key is not spending time, but investing it.’ as Stephen Covey believed. The three year journey
strengthened me to organise and prioritise time as a resource.I would surely recommend WeSchool to
those seeking corporate careers.

WeSchool is a powerhouse comprising of excellent faculty, state-of-the-art infrastructure and an
experience of more than 400 people from across various fields. WeSchool has helped students like me
to develop our skills, knowledge, and understanding through various subjects and practical
applications in a real life scenario. The professors not only helped us understand subjects like Law,
Finance and Marketing which are unknown to an IT person like me, but also their practical application.
NHRDN is one of best thing that WeSchool offers to its students. It provides access to many seminars
that help in understanding the corporate world through people who have excelled in their fields. It is the
best way to increase your ‘NETWORK' in the corporate world.
WeSchool has provided many opportunities to me through various programs which will act as a
stepping stone in my career.”

Studying while you are working has its own benefits. I have been able to relate and understand
concepts and relate them to real life scenarios.
Excellent faculty, good course material, ample facilities for students have been the key to success of
this course. The learning doesn’t end here, there are different events and activities where we are
involved, which has helped me develop my personality and interpersonal skills.
Today for me, WeSchool is the ultimate destination to sharpen my skills and overall development.
