Polish Radio in 1939, Julien Bryan began broadcasting from the besieged capital

Julien Bryan ceased to be just a witness and photographer. And it hits the pictures Bryan - not the very image of the ruins and the effects of the bombing, but empathy towards photographed heroes. Lack of distance between the photographer and the photographed gives the suffering of the saved on the negative personal character. Even in these frames, which did not include people feel their presence; view of the destroyed house, it is not merely an image of destruction, but - by implication - the fragment of a story about the people who lived in it.
