Amps & PickupsSonic Implants guitars and basses are unlike any you've heard. Awesome sonic quality with multi-sampled tones, upstroke, downstroke and muted chords, picked mutes, slides and more. It's this attention to detail that makes for incredibly authentic guitar tracks. The basses range from super punchy slap basses to warm, smooth finger basses, to cutting rock picked basses. Collection includes:Fender Precision Bass Finger & Slap, Fender Precision Bass Pick, Real Fender Telecaster Mutes & Tones, Real Fender Telecaster Chords, Rickenbacker 330 6-String Guitar Mutes & Tones, Rickenbacker 330 6-String Chords, Rickenbacker Pick Bass, & Rickenbacker Finger Bass

Keyboard LayoutsMelodic samples such as tones, mutes, harmonics, etc. all follow your typical keyboard layout. Things get a bit more complicated when you get to the chord layouts. Here are some diagrams to help you out.

For other musical keys follow the "Major", "Minor" order listed above starting with the root of the musical key you're working in. For example, the "D-Diatonic" Instrument starts with D-Major Downstroke on Note D2, D#-minor Downstroke on Note D#2, E-minor Downstroke on Note E2, etc.

For best results choose the Diatonic Instrument for the musical key your song is in. For example if your song is in the Key of G Major, start working with the "G Diatonic" instrument. Page 2

Instrument Details

Fender Precision Bass Finger & Slap

The dean of American basses, the Fender Precision is a four-string workhorse chock full of thick, rich tone.Somehow, simply calling it fat doesn't do it justice. Two velocities of sustained tones topped with a generousdollop of slaps and served hot with heaping side orders of slides and stops. Long loops and generous portions. Only one word will suffice-phat.

Fender Precision Bass Pick

Just like its cousin in character, body, and feel, but with the pronounced attack that lets this instrument hold its own amidst heavier musical settings. Multiple velocities of down and up-picked samples in addition to slides and other fringe benefits.

Real Fender Telecaster

Fifty years and counting and the Telecaster is still going strong. Just like our Real Fender Strat, you’ll love this guitar for it’s sheer versatility and playability. Multiple velocities of tones, mutes, finger snaps and more, plus a vast array of chords that will fit the bill whether your bag is rock, country, blues, or r&b.

Real Fender Telecaster Chords

A huge pallete of chords & mutes to go with the Telecaster Tones soundfont. Major, Minor, 7Sus4, Min7, Dom7, and Major Suspended chords give you a wide range of sonic real estate from which to craft your next masterpiece. Individual chord mutes will help to give your strumming sequences that special 'chukka-chukka' realism.

Rickenbacker 330 6-String Guitar Mutes & Tones

The Rickenbacker family has been producing a variety of high-quality guitars and basses since the 1930's, but their instruments are perhaps best remembered for helping to usher in the sound of the 'British invasion' in the mid '60's. Since that time, Rickenbacker guitars have been championed by a broad cross section of artists as diverse as The Beatles, The Byrds, The Jam, and Radiohead. We recently had the good fortune of spending some quality time with a classic Rickenbacker 330 and, after getting acquainted with its distinct characteristics through a Vox AC-30 modded to vintage specs, we're pleased to offer you the results; one velocity of mutes and two velocities of tones that offer up all the Rickenbacker sound that still inspires musicians to this day.

Rickenbacker 330 6-String Guitar Chords

The perfect companion piece to the 'Ric330 Mutes & Tones'. Five sets of upstroke and downstroke chords that will stuff your sonic grab-bag to overflowing with distinctive Rickenbacker tone. Going beyond stock major and minor offerings, we wanted to include some chord types that really hit the Ric's 'sweet spot,' and so, we've added Dom7, 7Sus4, and Add9 chords that really round out the collection and put a wide canvas of sound at your disposal. An unusually large soundfont, broken up into smaller sections to make it easy to manage; 'Majors & Minors,' 'Dom7 Chords,' '7Sus4 Chords, and 'Add9' chords. Over 100 chord samples!

Rickenbacker 4003 Pick Bass

Just as Rickenbacker guitars are famous for their singular sound, Ric basses have become just as sought after for their unmistakable individuality. We sampled this Rickenbacker model 4003 black beauty in parallel, using its unique 'Ric-O-Sound' stereo jack to send the bridge and neck pickups through an Ampeg bass cab and a Joe Meek tube compressor, respectively. The resulting tone combination is thick and meaty in the lower register while still retaining a characteristic punch up top. We've also included alternate pick samples and programmed this dual-velocity monster in a variety of configurations, enabling you to play it full-range or alternating samples by octave in the style of our popular 'Hard Pick Rock Bass'.

Rickenbacker 4003 Finger Bass

The same Ric 4003 black beauty putting out a warm, round tone that can best be described as ‘McCartney-esque.’ Similar in feel to our popular Hofner ‘Beatle’ bass but with a subtly distinctive tone that only a Rickenbacker can provide. Multi-velocity.

*A note about Telecaster 'Double Stop' programs. 'Double stop' is a term commonly used in country and rock idioms that refers to the practice of playing two 'stopped' notes in rapid succession. Programs '015' - '017' utilize slur samples that, when played against picked tones, will allow you to re-create this 'double stop' effect. In order to accomodate a range of both slurred and picked samples however, each articulation has been mapped to ranges that are not indicative of the sample's actual root note. The first slur sample is an E3 sample mapped to note E2. The first picked sample is a C4 sample mapped to note C5. The practical idea behind this is to allow you to work left hand against right hand to create a realistic double-stop phrase as it is commonly played.
