Amistad Soccer Club 2019 – 2020 Fall Season Parent Information Letter • Non Profit Status o We are in the process of setting up Amistad as a 501C Non Profit Organization. This change will greatly benefit the club in the long run but does require us to have more structure and accountability. o Board of Directors § 4 Officers and 4 At Large Members • President – Nate Larson • Vice President – Milene Grubric • Secretary – Ami Larson • Treasurer – Kerri Berard • Andrew Pressley • Amanda Sogge • Shari Manturano • Tim Hatzenbuhler-Long • Amistad Costs o On the surface it may appear running Amistad Soccer Club is low cost. However, there are many costs that go unseen. For example: lawn care, field spray paint, porta pot, insurance and financial services, equipment needs, upfront costs for tournaments and uniforms, not to mention future goals of an indoor facility etc. o At this time we do not reimburse our coaches in any capacity. It is strictly a volunteer position. o We must create more cash flow to cover our operational expenses. • Registration and Payments o Parents my register players for either a Yearly Membership (Aug 1 to July 31)or a Quarterly Membership outlined below. § Aug – Oct • Since we are just getting up and running our 2019 1 st quarter will run Sept and Oct only – Aug 2019 is old rate and old payment method) § Nov – Jan § Feb – April § May - July o All players will need to register using our new website via Blue Sombrero even if they have filled out the paper form.
