simplified & traditional) Chinese with traditional

book materials & multimedia. The class will learn

through listening, speaking, reading and writing at

the same time.

About the ☺Mandarin Chinese Happy Mandarin Chinese is a great place for

children to learn Chinese. This is not the tradi-

tional model of a Chinese school. Rather, it is

a school based on the Standards for Foreign

Language Learning in the United States on

specifically designed for children over the

age of 2. Happy Mandarin Chinese uses a

variety of teaching methods, including

games, music, dance, art, multimedia, etc..

Happy Mandarin Chinese-a flexible & dy-

namic curriculum. The teachers are experi-

enced and caring. Our curriculum is derived

from Howard Gardner’s “Theory of Multiple

Intelligences” research. We have taken into

consideration the unique characteristics of

the development of children at a specific

age and the individuality of each child. This

program will stimulate children's interest in

learning, protect their curiosity for

knowledge, encourage them to actively

explore and communicate in a foreign lan-

guage. Most importantly, our program aims

to balance the development of a child's

multiple intelligences .

Focused, immersive, and comprehensive Chinese

learning opportunities for children ages 2-5. The

program encourages children to discover their po-

tential at their own pace and in their own unique,

natural styles. By bringing components of interac-

tive play and education into one cohesive, thematic

curriculum, this class will nurture the students’

growth in all areas.
