“bigger” and “brighter.” Every nightstarting Nov. 21 during Lagniappe,1.5 million points of glimmering lightswill shine, ending Jan. 1.

Surviving the Holiday SeasonBy Brian Rosso, R.D.During the holiday season, the average person experiences increased stress
and gains about five pounds.This weight gain and stress can be minimized by following the suggestions
listed below.Exercise on a regular basis.Avoid overeating your holiday favorites! Eat a healthy meal before going to a
party. Drink plenty of water, decaffeinated tea or decaffeinated coffee. Not onlywill the liquids hydrate you, but they will also fill your stomach and decreaseyour chances of overeating. Enjoy your favorite holiday foods, but eat them off asmall plate. This limits the amount of food you will eat and helps keep the extrapounds off.
