Since 1978, American Chimney Shroud’s parent company B.I.G. Company, Inc. has been designing, manufac-turing and installing decorative chimney shrouds for the Southern California home building market. In 1993, the company expanded dramatically. These expansions brought about improvements in quality, delivery times and passed on an added savings to the customer.

Over the past decade, ACS’s parent company’s continued growth in the Southern California market led to expansion into the outlying areas of the United States. Currently, ACS has shipped their Chimney Shrouds to Hawaii, Alaska, Japan and ships throughout the continental United States on a daily basis.

shield an unsightly metal fireplace termination cap

from view and dramatically improve the elevation

of any building. Roofed Caps and Shrouds can also

act as rain caps and spark arrestors for masonry

chimneys while enhancing the roofline as well.

Craftsmanship.Chimney Pots can also be used to cover an unsightly metal fireplace termination or used in lieu of a factory rain cap or spark arrestor (check with your local ordinance for proper application with pre-fabricated fireplace systems).
