TochargetheGPStracker,lifttheflapcoveringthechargingpostandplugthechargercableendintotheunitviatheUSBport,thenplugthechargerintoawalloutlet.
ThebatteryLEDonthefrontofthecamerawillchangetogreenwhentheGPStrackerisbeingcharged,andwillblinkgreenperiodicallytoindicatethatitstillhaspower.IfthebatteryLEDflashesRed,thatmeansthebatterylevelislow,andtheGPStrackershouldbecharged.
PoweringUpandTurningOfftheDevice
Toturnthedeviceon,pressthePowerbuttononthetopofthedeviceonce.Asthedeviceobtainssatellitesignal,themiddleLED(cellular)willbeginblinkingandwillstartrelayinglocationdata.Toturnoffthedevice,pressandholdthePowerbuttononthetopofthedevice.

Followtheactivationstepsonthesite,andwithin24hoursafterwardsyouwillreceiveanemailwithdetailsaboutthedevice,alongwiththeusernameandpasswordusedtologintotheAmcrestGPSsite.
DevicePlacement
Makesurethatthedeviceisplacednearawindoworonasurfacethatdoesnotobstructthesignalreception.Placingthedeviceinthetrunkofacarisnotrecommended.MovetheGPStrackernearwhereyouwanttoplaceitandcheckthegreenGPSsignaltoensurethatreceptionisavailableinthatposition.

Thistaballowstheusertocreateandmanagezones(geofences).Beforeyoucreateazone,youmustfirstcreateazonegroup.YoucancreateazonegroupbyclickingtheManageZoneGroupsbutton,thenclickingNewGroup.Namethegroup,thenclickenter.
Thereare3differenttypesofzones:
No-GoZones–Thesezonescantriggeranalarmifthetrackerisdetectedwithinitsboundaries.
Keep-InZones–Thesezonescantriggeranalarmifthetrackerisdetectedoutsideitsboundaries.
Location–Thesezonessimplymarkaspecificlocationonamap.

Tocreateazone,clicktheCreateZonebuttonatthetopofthepageandselectwhichtypeofzoneyou’dliketocreate.Clickdifferentpointsonthemaptocreateashape,thenforthelastpoint,doubleclicktoclosethezone.Oncethezoneisclosed,nameit,ensurethetypeiscorrect,selectazonegroup,thenclickSave.Toaccessmorezonesettings,clickAdvanced.

Thistaballowsforadministrationofassetsanduseraccounts.EachmenuitemontheleftsideopensthemenuforeachaspectoftheGPStracker.Fromthismenu,hardwaredevicescanbeassignedtoassetprofiles,userpermissionsareassigned,andSIMinformationarestored.
Assets:TheAssetssubmenuisdesignedtohelpmanageanyassettowhichyouchoosetoattachtheGPSTracker.Therearethreepresetassettypes(vehicle,driverandportabledevice)tochoosefromoncetheAssetsmainmenuisopened.IntheNewAssetform,thereareoptionstonameAssets,addverbosedescriptionsandphotos.
HardwareDevices:AlldetailsforanyAmcrestGPSTrackeraremanagedhere.Devicesareassignedtoassetprofileswithinthissubmenu.
AssetGroups:TheAssetGroupssubmenuallowsyoutoorganizeyourassetsintogroupsandgivespecificusergroupspermissiontoviewandeditassetinformation.
