Everybody very well aware AE's aerodynamic under casing performances is better than OEM manufacture
INDIA. The special design triphosoid grips perfectly play the inhaling & exhaling of air. So for AE's
supplied 7500 set of undercasing throughout INDIA and ABROAD and working satisfied and not even
single under casing rejected by the customer. Generally the well opened fiber from the cylinder zone
goes to the doffer for making the sliver. The unopened fiber less than 0.1 thicknesses go to the under
casing zone. At under casing tongue area because of the angle profile of the wire and the gap (tongue
and cylinder wire) and height of the tongue decides the intake and sufficient of air to open the fibers in
the under casing zone. The under casing tounge to cylinder gap depends upon the fiber length and no
of fiber in cross section. Because of the air transaction fiber gets opened and prepared and feed again
for Precarding zone. After opening of the fiber the air has to remove from the under casing zone.
Generally the cylinder wire holds the long fiber the same has to be strip by the doffer wire points only.
The short fiber will not have support wherever gap is available try to come out. The short fiber eject at
the starting of triangle grid and the same short fiber pull it inside .So fiber holds in the triangle grid
always. Because of the triangle profile (existing design) of the grid and more number of grids disturb
the inhaling and exhaling air in the Under casing and leads to fiber hanging and side fly's and very
difficult to processing of low micronaire fiber and the during time of cylinder stoppage air current
reduces the hanging fiber try to come inside the cylinder zone and pulled inside by the wire points and
causes the damaging of Under casing. At the same time it leads to heavy damages which is Costly and
spoils the quality of the sliver. To overcome these types of practical difficulties AE has developed
Aerodynamic undercasing with 5 ribs at front and 5 ribs at back. The width of the grid is 33 mm. The
air which is coming out from cylinder goes straight to the floor. Since the grid width is 33 mm no air
returns back to the cylinder. Hence always the undercasing is free from the hanging of shortfibers.

and found perfectly good condition. The old destine under casing consisting of 28 and 22 grids at front
and back side .The under casing .stability got disturbed because of the several cutting in the side plate
when compare AE innovative under casing .The air in-hauling and exhaling always should be equal.
This job is perfectly done by the AE”S undercasing and less number of ribs and successfully proven
thought India and abroad and 6500 Cards have been equipped with AE's Undercasing till today and
there is no complaint. For some of the fiber the existing triangle grid performing better.

Carding plays a major role in the quality of yarn and fabric because each and every fiber
will be taken care by carding. Carding is one of the department controls Afis, classimate,
imperfection and controls FD cuts in the Autoconer Carding is having controlling of
individual fibers and removes the tuft size, seed coats, trash, open the open able neps,
removes the non open able neps as flats waste and distributes the fibers uniformly
throughout the area of cylinder.To attain The better quality of yarn with less maintenance
everybody needs new Generation of cards but it is very difficult because of different situations
and more cost.The basic concept of the cards remains same in the new generation of Cards
and old generation of cards. The New Generation Card involves more cost and it is difficult
to implement in time.AE has developed the retrofits for C1/2, C1/3 and Crossrol cards with
latest Technology and the same have been proved by supplying to leading mills in India and

generation of Cards cylinder is divided into two half circle only. One is for movable flats
and another part is Undercasing. The revolving flat zone only has to be taken care of the
entire quality job like opening of fibers, removal of short fibers, paralyzing of fibers, and
removal of neps. So the revolving Flats alone unable to full fill the purpose and that to also
Flats in the forward direction. In the Flats forward direction the flats hold the short fibers
at the entry and the same has to ideal travel till delivery at the front side.

Hence unable to achieve better result. In 2nd generation of Card have some limitations due to
Its design feature.The 3rd generation of Cards has been designed as 3 triangles in the Cylinder
zone The first part is for revolving flats(less flats), second is for Pre&post carding zone and
Post carding zone and remaining is Undercasing zone . The dimension and speeds of like
cylinder, doffer, lickerin and side frame remain same in c1/2 and c1/3 cards and latest cards of
lakshmi rieter and TRUZLER cards.
AE has developed flat reversal along with pre carding zone retrofit for 2nd Generation Cards
and match with the 3rd generation Cards performance. Comparing the cost of 3rd Generation
Cards the cost of conversion is dismal and more economical and fulfills the customer needs.
AE quality retrofit is successfully working more than 450 machines throughout India and abroad.
AE has decided to reduce the flexible flats and introducing more stationary(9f+2k) flats and
designed such a way the accuracy of pre -carding segment (individual 7 leveling adjustment)
better than existing system. In our PRE-CARDING SYSTEM strips are designed to adjust to
the closest possible setting to the entire width of the cylinder curvature.AE's pre-carding
segment is designed in such a way and there is possibility of adjusting every individual strip
and having 7 leveling points loaded by the spring . The perfect and strong designing helps to
maintain the accuracy of 0.05mm throughout the curvature of the cylinder. This will ensure
excellent results than the other systems running at present. In competitor systems running at
present, the settings are possible only to the highest peak of the cylinder wire tip and unable to
maintain the uniform setting with respect to the cylinder that leads for more thick and thin
places in the yarn.
The special designed waste control bar helps to controlling the waste without adjusting the
knife. AE pre carding stationary flats is different ppsi like 140/240/330 respect. The trash,
seed coats, short fibers and contaminations are removed in two stages. First stage in pre-
First stage in pre-Carding system, opens the fibers and removes the seed coats, trash, and
short fibers through the 2 suction pipes provided at strategic location in the PRE-CARDING
SYSTEM. The left out trash, seed coats, short fibers and contaminations are removed
effectively by the FLAT REVERSAL SYSTEM.
The PRE-CARDING SYSTEM forms three layers in the cylinder zone. The bottom most layer
will be long fibers. Middle layer will be short fibers, seed coats, trash and third and top
layer will be contamination.Immediate after pre-carding zone AE has introduced the flat
reversal system, so the hard waste ,contamination and the short fiber prepared by the
pre-carding segment is removed at back side itself before entering into the cylinder zone
and contamination removes as full form. The collected waste at back side goes to the filter
box through OCM Mechanism. Only good fibers will be inside cylinder zone for carding
action that ensures the better quality level.
The flat reversal system works with PRE -CARDING SYSTEM for cotton processing. Hence the
machine running with PRE-CARDING SYSTEM & FLAT REVERSAL for cotton in tandem gives
better results than the machine running with PRE-CARDING SYSTEM alone. This phenomenon
has been proved in the latest machines that have flat reversal system. The result of which there
will an improvement by way of reduction of 15 to 20% in classimate faults and 20% in FD Cuts
in Auto coner.The Synthetic does not have contamination and short fiber, So we recommend only
PRE -CARDING SYSTEM and no use of flat reversal system and it will induce the more static
charges by the opposite direction between flats and the fiber. Hence the latest cards may not so
successful in synthetic processing. The best performance for synthetic is only from c1/2, c1/3
cards. Herewith we enclose the comparison study for your reference.
AE240 Card Flat Drive having flexiblity of both forward and reverse direction of flats.
In synthetic Flat forward direction is advisable because it will remove more waste by
1% and it will generate more static electricity ( The friction between the fibre and
metal is called static electricity. More static electricity is generated when the
flats are moving in opposite direction in Synthetic processing.
This is one of the reason most of the synthetic processing customer’s are very
much happy about the performance of the C1/2,C1/3 Cards.

maintenance or problems and successful performance for the last 30 Years.

AE’S BRUSH ROLLER MODIFICATIONS
SUITABLE FOR RIETER CARDS
In existing C1/2,C1/3 cards the brush roller motor is getting failure Frequently hence customer bypass
the system and getting drive from some other methods. So unable to run the brush roller by 2880rpm
and fiber instead of transferring to the filter box it get deposited in the front bottom plate,after more
accumulation doffer pull the fiber over the bottom plate and spoil the cylinder and doffer wires. To
avoid this AE has developed the retrofit for brush roll drive .the direct drive goes to the brush roller
with out compromising the speed and failure of motor is also seems to be nil.
ADVANTAGES OF BRUSH ROLLER MODIFICATION
1. Existing always failure motor is getting removed.

SLIVER COILER ZONE

AE has developed new innovative linear coiler and successfully working in OE/COTTON/SYNTHETIC
to the customer entire satisfaction level. The innovative coiler has designed by the team of Engineers
having more than 35 years experience in the textile field. All the retrofit designed by the AE is
performing well through out India and abroad also to the entire customer satisfaction. This
universal coiler has designed in such a way for matching to all counts range, any climatic condition
& it is near maintenance free & suitable for all make of Cards. While designing the coiler we studied
the merits and demerits of all different make of coiler and applying our ideas for designing of this
coiler. This is user friendly and very much suitable for high speed. By doing round clock RND and
five different designs and tried with different count, and finally we decided to manufacture this
innovative coiler. We are testing the coiler in our C1/2 in our factory with the sliver at RPM of
200 Mts/Min. mechanically all the component will be tested 450Mts/min. Our coiler consists of only
3 parts namely sliver coiler head, gear box, bottom can rotation, and can changer (optional).
