Each of the tools provided can be customized to your business by adding your business name, logo, address, phone number, and website address. Throughout this user’s guide, we provide details on how you can customize the materials, and there are also clear instructions for your vendors so that they can assist you with the customization process.

All of the tools are available to you for no additional fee. However, you will need to handle costs associated with reformatting and customizing materials, postage, and any print or online advertising fees.

Marketing activities play an important role in building and maintaining a successful business and achieving business goals. A strong marketing program will create awareness of your company among your target audiences and help to generate customer interest and sales.

When implementing a marketing program for Amara, we suggest using several different channels to create multiple touch points with your audiences. Your communications will be more effective if the audiences receive your message a number of times through various media.

We have developed a variety of marketing materials to help you reach your audiences. You may find that some of the materials are more appropriate for your business than others, so we encourage you to choose the tools that are right for your customers and your business.

Due to the software programs required to work with the materials included in our program, we strongly recommend using design and web professionals for the customization. There are many affordable designers and web specialists in your area who are ready to help you. In addition, newspapers and printers are good resources to assist you in the customization of materials that they will be handling for you.

Your communications should always include a call to action—inviting customers to an event, directing them to your website, having them contact you with questions, etc.—so that you capture their attention and close the loop.


Patient brochureThe patient brochure is a four-panel promotional piece that tells the Amara story. It comes in packs of 25, is full color, measures 3.75" x 8.5", and can be displayed in the included Amara brochure holder. The brochures will also fit into a standard #10 business envelope that can be mailed directly to your customers’ homes if you elect to reach them through direct mail.

If you choose to order the brochure and holder, they will be shipped to your business.

Point-of-sale displayThis display enables you to put Amara on a life-sized mask display head (not included) in your showroom. It gives customers a hands-on opportunity to experience the compact design, ease of adjustment, and soft, comfortable fit of Amara.

If you choose to order the point-of-sale display, it will be shipped to your business.


An email campaign is a cost-effective way to reach your customers. An often-overlooked, but very important, part of every email is the message that will appear in the subject line. Keep it short and make it catchy. Be sure to have a clear message for each email, and include your contact information and a link to your website.

We have included email templates that can be used in promoting Amara to your customers. If you are unfamiliar with implementing an email campaign, contact your web team or web vendor for advice on completing and distributing an email blast.

Direct mail can be an impactful part of your marketing efforts. It is an efficient method to get your message directly into the hands of your customers and potential customers, especially those who do not use email. We have created an oversized postcard template that can be sent out to your database of contacts. Its large size, 9" x 6", draws attention, and the card provides ample space for your message and business information.

The Amara postcard template can easily be customized by your designer or advertising agency. A printer will also be able to make file adjustments to the postcards. When you go to your local printer to get a printing price, ask if they have the capabilities to customize the files for you. Some printers will also have the capability to take your database and address and mail the postcards.

Newspaper and magazine adsLocal newspapers and magazines can be an important part of your media mix because they put your message in front of a large number of people quickly. Look for community or neighborhood publications that have subscribers in the vicinity of your business. The area within a 10-mile radius is a good rule of thumb.

The cost to advertise will vary. Call each publication and speak to a salesperson regarding pricing, ad size, and deadlines. The publications will also be able to assist you in sizing the ad and getting it ready to be printed. They have production people on staff who will help you customize the ad with your business information when they are preparing it for the publication.

We have created two different ad sizes, 7" x 10" and 7" x 5", and both are available in black and white and color. We have provided details on sizing, file type, and customization options for the ads, as well as a specification sheet that can assist your designer or publication in customizing the ads for your business.

The purpose of banner advertising is to promote your business and/or get visitors from another website to go to yours. You can certainly use banner ads to promote Amara on your own website. If you are purchasing newspaper or magazine ads, there will often be website advertising available as well. Additionally, if you work with an advertising agency, they will be able to provide you with a plan to advertise on the web.

There are three different sizes of banner ads available—leaderboard, poster, and skyscraper. The leaderboard is a horizontal graphic that stretches across the top or bottom of a website, while the skyscraper is a vertical graphic placed on the right or left side. The poster banner is a square ad that can be placed in various locations.

The web banners are designed to be customized by adding your name, phone number, and a link to your website. Doing this requires some familiarity with HTML coding, so work with your web team or web vendor to customize the banners.

The photography is professionally shot and will provide you with a number of different options. Each photo is available in both low-resolution and high-resolution .jpg format, which can be easily incorporated.
