Welcome to Amanyara Amanyara’s 800-metre sweep of brilliant white sand

is lapped by the turquoise waters of Northwest Point

Marine National Park and bounded by a nature reserve.

The resort’s 38 free-standing Guest Pavilions and 20

expansive Villas are set atop rocky bluffs and secret coves,

alongside tranquil lakes or just steps from the beach, while

the dramatic Entrance Pavilion, the Restaurant, Bar and

main swimming pool are perched on the coastline with

breathtaking sea views.

Contemporary in layout and design, Amanyara is situated

just 25 minutes’ drive from the international airport on

Providenciales, yet feels a world away from civilization.

From the spacious decks and feet-in-the-sand dining of

the resort’s Beach Club, to the Aman Spa with its pool and

ocean-side yoga sala, Amanyara offers a host of venues

Venues Amanyara’s grand Entrance Pavilion opens onto a central

reflection pond and the sea beyond, providing a striking

first impression on arrival at the resort. Surrounded by

mahogany trees, the reflection pond is framed on one side

by the Library and Boutique, and on the other side by

The Restaurant and The Bar, fronted by the 50-metre

(164-foot) main swimming pool and sun deck with

panoramic ocean views.

Restaurant is divided into two areas, one opening onto a

terrace with outdoor seating scattered beneath two large

trees, and the other opening onto a balcony with views

across the central reflection pond. This second area can be

The Bar

Circular in design with a soaring ceiling, The Bar includes

a central service bar with a number of over-sized lounging

daybeds on its perimeter. Leading from the Bar is a

spacious terrace that provides informal dining throughout

Dining Amanyara’s cuisine focuses on classic Asian and modern

Mediterranean fare, with an emphasis on fresh seafood

ranging from oysters, linefish and shellfish, to ceviche, su-

shi and sashimi. The resort’s menus also reflect the fresh

flavours of the Caribbean and Central America. Making the

most of local and seasonal produce is of the highest prior-

ity for our chefs, which means that Amanyara’s menus are

constantly changing to reflect the seasons.

Executive Chef Erik Gremmer will work with you to create

a personalised menu for your event, with options ranging

from raw cuisine to kosher and halal. Vegetarians, vegans

and those with other dietary restrictions can easily be

catered for.

Accommodation Designed to offer a seamless flow between indoors and

out, Amanyara’s 38 timber-shingled pavilions feature

dramatic overhanging eaves, extensive outdoor areas and

serene views of the ocean or the nature reserve. All have

entrance terraces, wooden sundecks and king-size beds,

with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening to sea breezes.

Eleven feature private pools. There are also 20 Amanyara

Villas each on over half a hectare (1.5 acres) and arranged

around a black infinity-edged swimming pool. Serviced

by a chef and host, they offer three distinct outlooks:

Tranquility Villas overlook expansive reflection ponds and

gardens; Ocean Villas have ocean views; and Beach Villas

offer direct beach access.


Extra Services Certain aspects of a celebration require specialist services,

and Aman works with trusted professionals in every

destination who are known for their expertise.

Our preferred photographers and videographers are

some of the best in their fields, while our recommended

florists will design floral decorations from bouquets and

buttonholes, to table centrepieces and stands, in line with

individual tastes.

Our well-known and experienced hair stylists and makeup

artists will attend to you and your guests at the resort or

hotel, offering initial consultations and trials before the

event itself.

A crucial aspect of any event, the music and entertainment

can be specially curated to contribute to the uniqueness

of your celebration. Each Aman is very much a part of its

cultural setting and can arrange local musicians to perform

traditional music. Traditional dance performances or

cultural demonstrations can also be arranged, depending

on the destination. Classical and contemporary options

are also covered, with a selection of recommended string

quartets, soloists, bands and DJs available.


Marriage License and Legal Requirements

To officially say ‘I do’ in a wedding ceremony at Amanyara,

the couple must be present in the Turks & Caicos Islands

for 48 hours before applying for a marriage license.

Approval of license takes up to 72 hours (three working

days).

Documents required:

• One application for a Marriage License form

• Two Marriage Declaration application forms

• Affidavit from Registrar Office in the country where

the person is coming from validating marital status

• Certified copy of residency certificate

• Original or certified copy of birth certificate

• Original or certified copy of passport

To hold a religious ceremony in a church, mosque or

synagogue, the couple will generally need to be part of a

practicing congregation and have a letter of introduction

from their religious leader.

Getting There

The Turks & Caicos comprises eight islands and 40

small cays, 923km (575 miles) southeast of Miami and

160km (100 miles) north of the Dominican Republic. The

archipelago’s international airport lies on the island of

Providenciales, just 25 minutes by car from Amanyara.

There are direct flights between Providenciales and US

cities Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, Miami, Charlotte,

Dallas, New York and New Jersey as well as Toronto,

Canada and London, United Kingdom are available.
