HUMOR TIME

Counting some sheep

An accountant is having a

hard time sleeping and so

he decides to go to see his

doctor. "Doctor, I just

can't get to sleep at

night," complains the

man.

"Have you tried counting

sheep?" inquired the

doctor.

The accountant replied,

"That's the problem, Doc.

I make a mistake and then

spend three hours trying

to find it!"

Finding accountants

A businessman tells his

friend that his company is

looking for a new

accountant.

His friend asks, "Didn't

your company hire a new

accountant a few weeks

ago?"

The businessman replies,

"That's the accountant

we're looking for."

Information & Technology Committee

The Information & Tech-

nology Committee was

reactivated last Friday,

July 31.

In its first meeting the

member of the commit-

tee discussed “Enterprise

2.0.”

The IT Committee objec-

tive is review and moni-

tor technology issues and

developments that could

be of benefit to AmCham

members. The commit-

tee also prepares reports

and surveys on the use of

technology to enhance

business productivity,

recommends speakers

and organizes technology

seminars.

Amcham has been an

incredible experience. My

time here will be

remembered fondly and I

am thankful to each and

every member who so

graciously welcomed me

and gave me input on the

services of AmCham.

Though I am returning to

complete my senior year,

at Appalachian State

University, Panama will

always hold a special

place in my heart. The

experiences had and the

people met will continue

to shape the person I will

become.
