As one of the light metals, aluminium is an essen-tial component for sustainable structures. Alu-minium is only a third the weight of steel, highly corrosion-resistant and can be processed in a va-riety of ways. All of this makes it an all-rounder for use in the construction industry.

In the open air, aluminium forms a natural protective layer, which shields it against external influ ences, including corrosion, and gives it a matt grey appear-ance. This makes aluminium extremely durable. In addition, modern coatings are UV-resistant and, together with the natural protective layer, ensure long-lasting building envelopes.

Responsible construction

AluDeck click seam systemRobust and cost-effective.

The AluDeck click seam system impresses due to its non-penetrative fastening system, which is long-lasting with low maintenance costs.

The system is installed by hooking and clamping the profiled sheets onto holders, which are already fitted to the substructure. No special tools are needed when crimping the seams. This quick and easy instal-lation makes the click seam system highly efficient and cost-effective.

The carefully considered geometry and low dead weight of the click seam profile panels also make wide spans possible for areas without supporting struc-ture.

AluDeck product description

AluDeck products are industrially manufactured pro-filed trough-shaped panels. The flanges on the up-right segments are shaped for a force-fit connection between the profile panels, so that they can be fas-tened to the substructure without any penetration. The profile panels are secured by simply twisting them into the system holders. AluDeck profile pan-els are rated as A1 non-flammable building materials. They are resistant to flying sparks and radiant heat in compliance with DIN 4102-4 and classed as hard roofing.

This also applies in connection with insulation ma-terials on the underside. AluDeck has been approved by the German Institute for Building Technology under number Z-14.1-172. The high quality of the product is guaranteed by continuous in-house and external auditing. In addition to standard alumini-um sys tem holders in various heights, we also offer a system for thermally separating the holders from the substrate with thermal caps in three different heights.

Product description of FalzRipp® standing seam system

FalzRipp® consists of trough-like profile panels. The flanges on the upright segments are shaped for a force-fit connection between the profile panels, so that they can be fastened to the substructure with-out penetrating them.

The variety of profile widths and heights makes it possible to offer an optimum selection for your de-signs, which meet a wide range of load-bearing and usage requirements.

The profile panels are rated as A1 non-flammable build ing materials. They are resistant to flying sparks and radiant heat in compliance with DIN 4102-4 and classed as hard roofing. This also applies in connec-tion with insulation materials on the lower side.

Special thermal holders ensure that the system has the best possible energy efficiency properties (Fig. 1).

Due to their tried-and-tested profiling, our alumi-nium standing seam profiles have many technical benefits and a variety of possible applications.

We make the product in several profile widths and heights. This enables us to offer an optimum selec-tion in terms of architectural design options, as well as load-bearing and usage requirements.

The standing seam profiles are non-flammable and very light, which also makes them ideal for renovating roofs with support structures with a low load-bearing capacity.

The FalzRipp® profile range can be produced at the construction site using our mobile fleet of roll for-ming machines, which can be used worldwide. This means that profile lengths of over 100 metres can be produced easily and without interim joints. Thanks to our sophisticated roll forming technology, we can also supply curved, conical, convex or concave profi-led panels.

Our FalzRipp® Skylum roof system combines trans-lucency and walkability in one product.

The multi-layer structure supports the load-bearing capacity and elasticity of the structure, so that even gale-force winds or heavy hail storms have no effect on the roof system. Repairs, maintenance work and renovations can be carried out without additional equipment, as individual elements or sheets can be easily replaced from the roof side.

One of the outstanding features of the system is that its translucency does not prevent plants from grow-ing and fills the interior with pleasant light. In addi-tion, the FalzRipp® Skylum roof system is character-ised by its partly transparent look, which means you can see through it like a glass roof.

Aluform Sidings High-quality elements for impressive façades.

FAÇADE

Aluform sidings made of aluminium are suitable for use as cladding systems for ventilated rain-screen façades.

The Aluform Siding system offers maximum flexibility for individual architectural designs with an outstand-ing operating life and low maintenance costs. For the commercial and industrial construction sector, as well as residential construction, it is the best and a highly cost-effective structural system solution.

Thanks to our innovative production technologies, the Sidings can be produced curved or perforated, which enables a wide range of designs. It is possible to fit the Aluform Siding system to all standard fas-tening substrates.

The separation of the system into insulation and weather protection sections creates a rear ventila-tion level, which carries any moisture towards the outside. Even moisture that is diffused outside the building through the outer wall and insulation is re-moved.

In case of high outdoor temperatures, the rear venti-lation level also provides heat protection in the sum-mer due to the continuous circulation of air. The rear ventilation of the Siding system, combined with a form of insulation, therefore creates a pleasant in-door climate and prevents mould from forming in critical places and inside the building.

Aluform Siding system product description

The system can be used for cladding walls and ceil-ings, both indoors and outdoors – even with acoustic properties, if necessary. The system can be installed in vertical, diagonal and horizontal direction.

We produce Sidings with cover widths of 200– 500 in 50 mm increments standard. Special widths are op-tional. The visible area of the Siding can have various designs: smooth (standard), macro-lined or micro- lined. Another variant is an edge formation with a modified shape, which allows a façade design with a shadow joint.

All Aluform Sidings can be produced optional with bended edges. These bended edges reduce the abil-ity to look inside the Sidings and provide a high-qual-ity optical joint. The Sidings can also be supplied with perforated visible surface.

Product description of cassettes

Aluform solid cassettes are manufactured in cover widths of up to 1000 mm. Strip coating, anodising and powder coating are available as a surface coat-ing. It is also possible to produce cassettes from alu-minium composite material.

Fastenings are either visible or concealed using stand-ard system substructures. When special profile sys-tems are used, concealed installation is also possible. Cassettes can also be produced curved.

The Aluform FM cassette can be fixed on the FM substructure. This results in a simple, fast and error-free installation. In addition, when using the FM sub-structure various cassette widths can be used on the facade.

Aluform aluminum Freestyle can be used as a clad-ding system for exterior ventilated façades, as well as interior walls and ceilings.

Freestyle cassettes are highly flexible when it comes to creating your own architectural façade and inter-ior design. They can be combined with the FM sub-structure to create unique accents, as part of a mixed façade with other products and surfaces.

The special manufacturing process of the cassettes generates unique geometric patterns, which makes every architectural project unique.

Aluminium composite material Ultimate flexibility in the façade

Aluform aluminium composite panels are ideally suited for flat, homogeneous ventilated rain-screen façades due to their large size.

There are hardly any limits to architectural design freedom with aluminium composite material: Excit-ing combinations of surfaces, colours, shapes and joints are possible. In addition, the composite panels can be fastened visible or concealed.

Aluminium composite material consists of a core, surrounded by two corrosion-resistant aluminium sheets. The core can be supplied in the B1 (flame retardant) or A2 (non-flammable) building material classes. The aluminium sheets are available in EN AW 3005 and EN AW 5005 alloys.

Our high-quality aluminium sinusoidal profiles have building authority approval and are rated as class A1 non-flammable building materials. On the roof, the profile panels are resistant to flying sparks / radiant heat in compliance with DIN 4102-4 and classed as solid roofing. Aluform sinusoidal profiles can be used on all conven-tional substructures and substrates. The profiles can

Shingles product description

Aluform shingles have a sheet thickness of 0.7 – 1.0 mm. The wraparound seam and closed top side of the shingles reliably prevent water from penetrat-ing – even in case of high wind loads.

Installing shingles is quick and simple with the 1- clamp procedure, which guarantees a strong fixing. During installation, the guidelines for roofing work on the roof and façade (specialist roofing regula-tions) should be observed.

We offer shingles in various designs and sizes for every structural and architectural requirement: rect-angular, square, diamond-shaped, rhombic, with spe-cial U-shaped profiles on the seam for particularly high stability or with open seam corners.

FM substructure systemEfficient and variable solution for façade systems.

The innovative, complete façade system for ven-tilated rainscreen façades stands out due to its variable FM substructure, which can be used on all conventional surfaces.

The FM substructure system provides architects, planners and façade builders with a cost-effective but flexible façade solution for the commercial, in-dustrial and residential projects.

The FM system-solution consists of the FM system rail, as well as the FM system holder with FM retainer

and a suitable façade product. The flexible substruc-ture makes the installation process quick, easy and safe for installers, as the sidings are only fixed in the FM system holders. Just one fastener is required to keep it in position. Due to the practical click system, hardly any tools are needed and installation mistakes are virtually ruled out.

Sustainable business represents an integral part of the Aluform company philosophy.

It starts with procurement/production processes that save on resources and the fact that our prod-ucts have a long, maintenance-friendly service life and can be recycled up to the end of a building cycle (”cradle to cradle“). We would like to make a compre-hensive and global contribution to achieving world-wide sustainability targets.

All materials used are tested and monitored in terms of their eco-balance before they are purchased. The products and systems meet the highest energy- saving and sustainability standards. We produce our products according to the highest environmental standards and continuously work to optimise the manufacturing process, in order to improve the CO2 balance.

We receive the energy needed for production at the Bernsdorf company site from our ultra-modern AluSolar photovoltaic rooftop system. This results in a saving of 100,000 kWh electricity per annum. In addition, around 85 % of the heating energy need-ed in our factory is generated by an efficient biogas plant, which enables us to reduce our CO2 emissions by 500 tonnes per annum.
