1. Introduction

The purpose of this document is to provide the guidelines to the users to access the Altametrics

ZipInventory Mobile application for eRestaurant.

2. Supported Devices

The Altametrics ZipInventory application is supported on all:

• Android devices

• iOS devices

3. Installation of Altametrics ZipInventory Application

Altametrics ZipInventory has been developed for tablet and mobile (iOS and Android devices) platforms.

To install Altametrics ZipInventory application on an Android and iOS device, follow the steps as

mentioned below.

3.1 For Android

To install ZipInventory application on an Android device, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Google Play Store and search Altametrics ZipInventory. User may find two different

applications on Play Store among which user need to select the one as highlighted in Figure 2.3.

2. Select Altametrics ZipInventory from the list.

3. Tap INSTALL to start downloading. Once downloading completes, installation will start

automatically.

3.2 For iOS

1. Go to the App Store and search Altametrics ZipInventory. User may find two different

applications on App Store among which user needs to select the one as highlighted in Figure 2.1

as this is the application that coordinates with Inventory module in eRestaurant.

2. Tap GET besides the application and then INSTALL (as shown in Figure 2.2).

4 Login Procedure in Altametrics ZipInventory

This section describes login screen with the procedure to login into Altametrics ZipInventory to access the

functional screens of the application.

The user can access the Altametrics ZipInventory with the email ID that is configured under the User Setup

in the eRestaurant application as shown in the below figure 3.1. The User Setup screen can be accessed

by navigating to Admin > Admin > User Setup & Configuration > User Setup

4.1 For Android

Follow the below steps to login on an Android device-

1. Click on “Activate Account” on the login screen

2. The user will land to a screen where the same email address needs to be entered that is present

in the eRestaurant application.

3. Click on proceed.

4. User will receive a message ‘User Registered Successfully’.

5. User will receive a temporary password on the entered email-id as shown below in figure 3.5

6. Enter the email id and temporary password and click on login button.

7. Successful login to ZipInventory using temporary password will redirect the user to Change

Password screen where the user will have to create a new password.

8. Enter the new password and then confirm the new password. Click on Change Password button.

9. The message ‘Password Changed Successfully’ will pop up.

10. The user can now enter the email address and updated password to login into the Altametrics

ZipInventory.

4.2 iOS

The Login procedure of iOS is same as that of Android. Refer to section 4.1 to Login in an IOS device.

5 Forgot Password

User can reset the password in case he/she has forgotten the password by clicking on “Forgot

Password” option on the login screen.

1. The user will be re-directed to a screen where the email address needs to be entered.

2. Enter the email-id on Reset Password screen in Figure 3.10 and then click on Reset Password

button.

3. A message ‘An email with a temporary password has been sent to registered email address’ will

pop up. A temporary password will be received on the entered email-id.

4. Enter the email-id and the temporary password on the login screen.

5. The user will be redirected to the Change password screen. (Refer to figure 3.6)

6. Enter the new password and click on “Change Password”

7. The message ‘Password Changed Successfully’ will pop up.(Refer Figure 3.7)

8. Now, the user can login through the registered email-id and updated password.
