Israeli sources: Israeli Organization Plans to Record Al-Aqsa Mosque as a «Property» for Occupation

“Al-Aqsa Foundation for Waqf and Heritage” warned on Tuesday (13/1) of a plan for an Israeli organi-zation that seeks to register Al Aqsa Mosque as a property formally be-longing to the Israeli occupation, in the department of “tabou” of Israel. The same organization said it hoped that the Israeli Judiciary Minister in the next governmentwould approve a scheme for registrating Al Aqsa as an Israeli “tabou”, which would open the way for them to develop detailed plans for the construction of the synagogues in some of its parts.

“Al-Aqsa Foundation” warning came according to plans based on press information recently pub-lished by some Hebrew newspapers on the subject, which included the resentment of “ Yishai Association,” led by Rabbi “Shmuel Eliyahu,” es-pecially after their failure to bring a respond from the Israeli maps Cen-ter that approves the request made by the “Organization” on fulyl registrating Al-Aqsa Mosque as an official property belonging to the Israeli occupation, for fear of the reactions and the sensitivity of the subject. “Yishai” claimed that a full yard in Buraq was recorded in 1996 as a “Tabou” belonging to the oc-cupation which makes a way for the

development of schemes pertaining to the whole Buraq area.

It is said that “Yishai” Society is active in the development and dis-semination of plans to build synagogues in some of Al-Aqsa Mosque parts, especially in the eastern region, between Marwani and the Gate of Mercy. As well, it seems that this latest development comes in the hot pursuit of the occupation to target Al-Aqsa Mosque and link the is-sue with electoral accounts and visions of the future.

Husseini: Al Maqased Needs More Than $ 30 Million to Cover Projects and Debt Repayment

Director General of Al Maqased Hospital, Rafiq Husseini, said that the hospital is in need for more than $ 30 million during the next three years, so to cover the development projects and the payment of the ac-cumulated debts, which amounted to more than $ 12 million by the end of 2014.

Husseini explained that the hospital still communicates with the Arab and international donors and opens new channels of communication with donors and other supporting actors, in order to find the necessary support. Husseini explained that because of the difficult economic and financial situation of the National Authority, the hospital delayed paying employees’ salaries and benefits of suppliers. This is in addition to the hospital’s inability to pay end of service benefits dues; this lead to some sagging careers and an increase in the size of the salary due to the hospital’s obligation to pay the salaries of the staff in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, who are unable to reach Jerusalem, due to the Israeli banning.

Husseini said that the last year witnessed Al Maqased obtaining of the international accreditation for hos-pitals certificate (JCI) in March. This certificate is considered one of the most important global certifica-tions of hospitals in the areas of quality and safety of patients. The hospitals also maintained the global ISO certification in Quality (ISO), which they obtained again in the month of July 2014.

As for the future plans, Husseini pointed out that Al Maqased will open a new section of brain surgery and nerves by the next few months and is working on innovating separate rooms in the maternity department, including the addition of 30 beds in the hospital in the first months of the new yearwhich will relieve overcrowding significantly.

Decision to Demolish Home of Jerusalemite for Allegedly «Blocking the Light from a Settler»

Israeli Supreme Court rejected on Monday (12/1) the petition of the Palestinian Jerusalem-ite citizen Ayed Xtero against the occupation authorities’ de-cision to demolish the surface of his 3 rooms and a balcony of the house, out of a build-ing consisting of 3 floors, in Alqurma neighborhood in the old town of Jerusalem, under the pretext that the house has become a threat to the build-ing belonging to Zionist as-sociations, and it obscures the light and air from a settler’s home adjacent to Xtero’s house.

Xtero said that the court’s de-cision to demolish the house “is a political decision aiming to emptying Alqurma neigh-borhood of the population, especially since the house has been targeted by settlers since 1987, where Zionist hous-ing associations are seeking to grab it by all means, under the pretext that it is higher than the rest of the neighbor-ing buildings seized by set-tlers and its proximity to the panoramic view on Al-Aqsa Mosque. “

The Israeli Foreign Minister, Avguidor Lieberman, called on Thursday (8/1) for banning the Islamic movement inside the occupied territories in 48, led by Sheikh Raed Salah, claiming that this comes so “to prevent attacks similar to those that occurred on Wednesday in Paris against the French Newspaper which led to the deaths of 12 people.” He added: “the les-son to be learned is the need for a legal emergency treatment to those move-ments that belong to terrorism, like the Islamic Movement.”

Netanyahu to the Jews of France: «the Jewish State is Your Home» .. And Criticism on his Visit

The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu adder-essed on Saturday evening (10/1) the Jews of France, saying that “Israel is your home”, in a comment on the process of Friday hostage in a store that specializes in selling Jewish foods in Paris, which lead to the killing of four people. Israeli media reported that Netanyahu commissioned a ministerial committee to discuss ways to encourage the migration of French Jews and Europe-ans to the Jewish State during this week. The Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman will represent the Jewish State in the “March of the Republic,” scheduled on Sun-day in Paris.

In a related context, the Director-General of the Fed-eration of Jewish organizations in Europe Rabbi “Me-nachem Margolin” rejected the invitation of the Presi-dent of the Israeli government Benjamin Netanyahu to French Jews to immigrate to the Jewish State. Margolin said that “the immigration to the Jewish state is not the solution to anti-Semitic terrorism, just as exiling the people of Gaza from Gaza is not the solution to Hamas terrorism. The Israeli government has to abandon these populist calls with each incident occurring in Europe.” He pointed out that “ such calls weaken and violate the rights of the Jewish community in Europe to live safely wherever they are.”

On the other hand, t”Haaretz” revealed on Monday (12/1) that the French president, “Francois Hollande,” left the synagogue as soon as the PrimM minister in the Israeli government Benjamin Netanyahu delivered his

speech on the memory of the four Jews who were killed in the recent events in Paris, as an expression of Holland’s wrath of Netanyahu’s participation in Paris march. In addition to that, the Israel Finance Minister who was sacked from heading the party “There is a future,” Yair, criticized the picture in which the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahuappeared to be sneaking between the rows to appear in the first row of Paris March against “terrorism”. Lapid said, what the “Baby” did in Paris was not po-lite, describing what happened as “a disgrace”. He also pointed to the importance of the pres-ence of an official Israeli representation with-out the use of electoral propaganda in the au-dience, noting that “the Israeli representation was so much as raising the attention of Europe has been disturbed by this, something which is we don’t not accept.”
