GREENING IN PLACE PROGRAM PROVIDES ENERGY SOLUTIONS FOR RETAILERS AND UTILITY INDUSTRY

Greening in Place is one of the utility industry's most

popular energy and cost saving solutions. The

recommissioning of existing rooftop HVAC units, in particular,

is driving utility companies to offer incentives and rebates

to retail and commercial customers. The move comes as

many state governments and the Department of Energy are

issuing requirements for utilities to cut consumption.

It is a known fact that

heating, ventilation

and air conditioning

(HVAC) constitutes up

to 49 percent of

energy used in retail

facilities. Both the

utility industry and

the HVAC industry are

joining forces to lower

energy consumption

and deliver real-time

savings to

consumers.

Reducing consumption is being accomplished both by

mandates and rebates. The Greening in Place Program can

provide your retail company with energy savings and utility

rebates.
