and anthropometric measurements of Filipino Americans; and (b) identify the predictors of

anthropometric measurements of Filipino Americans.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the metabolic energy cost of Tinikling, a Philippine

folkloric dance, using a portable metabolic measurement system and relate these findings to the

current American College of Sports Medicine guidelines for physical activity.
