Sales Managment CommentsWe are always so proud of our allegiance to the purity of Simmental in hosting this sale. It is the best replica of tradition to where the breed came from. Now in saying that, we use the word “Fleckvieh” in the sale title but that doesn’t mean we don’t respect the good that has come from the Swiss lineage, hence the the final part of the sale’s title “Fleckvieh Equation - Fullblood Simmental Sale”. Regardless of where in Europe these cattle hail from, we are honoured to promote them because we legitimately believe in them. As said in the past, we aren’t just simple “fair-weather fans” to Fullblood Simmental. We were fully prepared to promote them even when their popularity wasn’t apparent and we are still as enthused as ever. The nostalgia we have with the former sales, such as Fleckvieh Fest, Fleck Focus and The Fleck Select that are the birth origins of this sale grant us the experience to understand and more importantly, appreciate, Fullblood Simmental. This is the probably one of, if not the best, representative of Fullblood/Fleckvieh Simmental Cattle that happens in North America annually.

From that, the Purebred cattle had to be developed somehow and to have this sale co-dependant with our Ultimate Red & Black Sale is a real testament to the breed’s evolution in Canada. I guess that’s why this double header sale day has the largest crowd of the year as any sale in the business. Come early to get your seat!

The hopes for a heifer calf from this mating was what we were striving for but Ammo hasn’t disappointed. His cow family has also been in the forefront of the spot lights within our cow herd and he is anchored by the MRLN 100K cow which was the capacity queen and a powerhouse matron that we utilized for her ease of keeping and overall soundness to create generations of lineage in which never miss! ALLM Colossal has raised us some of our most powerful calves over the years and this guy is no different. Being our heaviest, best gaining bull in the pen, Eskimo is the true definition of performance. His dam is a young, thick-boned, larger framed bull-making machine and has wonderful mother-ing abilities. Lady Siska is one you’d have a difficult time finding any faults with. Eskimo displays the performance behind our horned department while Ember is one of the feature bulls in our polled lineup. This bull just keeps on gaining. All of our calves are fed a grain-free ration that al-lows them to grow to their full and honest potential. Ember is a soggy, docile bull, which are traits we are seeing in Blueprint calves. Not to mention, his hair coat and eye appeal makes him irresistible. BEN Mona Legend continues to flourish in our program not only with her calves but also with her infamous personality.
