Our tubular aluminum pontoon type Internal FloatingRoof (IFR) is the model for cost-effective, efficient andlong-lasting Internal Floating Roofs. Pontoons manufac-tured to the highest of quality standards using only cer-tified welders and ASME qualified weld procedures arearranged on a tightly spaced grid to provide excellentdistribution of buoyancy. The vapor integrity of the roof isensured by our unique sheet clamping system. Thestrong extruded and rolled perimeter section allows us toinstall primary shoe seals and secondary seals withoutthe need for additional stiffening. This roof is also avail-able in hybrid aluminum/stainless steel or all stainlesssteel for highly corrosive services.

Our patented, welded module Aluminum HC FullContact IFR is designed for owners who prefer the bene-fits of the full contact aluminum floating roof concept.ALLENTECH's welded module design eliminates costlyfailures and product compatibility concerns associatedwith an exposed adhesive design. Factory-installed testports allow future field-testing of each module so that thetank can be certified gas free without concern that dan-gerous vapors or product may be trapped inside themodule.

The ALLENTECH Aluminum HC Full Contact IFRshave been designed around strength and safety,eliminating concerns of leaking modules andproduct entrapment associated with otherdesigns.

Its low profile minimizes tank capacityloss. Chemical incompatibility issues are virtually elimi-nated and service life far exceeds other types of sec-ondary internal floating roof seals.

The ALLENTECH Flex-A-Swivel™ roof drain is made ofnickel-plated steel. It does not contain failure prone ball-bearings and flexible hoses. It is rugged and morechemically resistant than present flexible hose drainsand swivel joints that use flexible hose at the joint. Thethreaded construction provides a secondary seal in theunlikely failure of the o-rings.
