Makiko HirabayashiHide and Seek

If you never witnessed the classic Dolls line-up live in concert, this album recorded for a Radio Luxembourg broadcast in Paris is the next best thing. In their prime at the time, this is arguably the best live recording of the New York Dolls. By the time the Dolls disbanded in 1978, they had accumulated a devoted, worldwide cult following. An invitation to perform at the UK’s 2004 Meltdown Festival led to a reunion of the surviving band members, and the release of new albums.
