� Significance & status of each house in your birth chart

In the explanation of your horoscope chart, we have indicated the different houses in your chart. It

is the houses which relate to different aspects in a person’s life. A house is most influenced by the

planets located in a particular house. Next the house is influenced by lord or the ruling planet of a

chart. There are 2 different methods to measure the strength of each house in the chart

� Concern No.-1

Currently I am working at Bangalore and residing here with my wife and son. I am thinking of

purchasing own house/flat. But my parents are residing at my native in Kerala near Cochin and

they prefer that I settle down at Cochin, rather than they moving to Bangalore. My wife is also

from Kochin. Please advise me whether settling in Bangalore or settling at Cochin will be better.

Also let me know when I will have my own house.

Analysis:

You are now passing through the main period of Rahu till October 02, 2024. In your chart, Rahu is

positioned in the 4th house. You will surely be able to buy a house of your own. Rahu positioned in

the 4th house combined with the fact that your 10th Lord Mars is positioned in the 12th house

indicates that it would be more beneficial for you to buy a house in Bangalore, your current place

of residence rather than in your native place. Rahu positioned in the 4th house generally indicates

some trouble at home and so it is more favorable for you to reside away from native home, in

My general health has been going down for the last 2 years. Work pressure and family related

stress looks to be major contributing factors. Please let me know when I will be able to better

health and peace of mind?

Analysis:

Saturn was in transit over your ascendant and Natal Saturn, positioned in the ascendant from

September 2004 till July 2007. This is said to be a period of „Saturn Return‟. This transit could

have marked a very important transformation in life. This could have been a very eventful period in

your life, but not without its challenges covering every aspects of your life. Moreover Rahu is in

transit over your 8 house till May 2008. Hence the combined effect could have caused health and

related mental problems. Rahu will cross over to your 7th house in May 2008 and then your health

could show some improvement. However you are now passing through the sub-period of Rahu-

Rahu till June 15, 2009 and therefore you will be subjected to some nagging health and other

I have not got a promotion in my job for quite long. Recently I had changed my job. Can I expect a

promotion and good hike in pay in the next 3-4 months? If not when can I expect them?

Analysis:

In your chart, Moon is positioned in the 10th house and this could sometimes give you an

inclination to change jobs often. You should therefore try to guard against this tendency if it exists.

Jupiter would be in transit over your 6th house, the house of service from November 2007 till

December 2008. This period is good for any kind of work and fulfilling duties that contribute to

your personal growth. During this period, improvement in service through promotion or a new job

with better opportunities and more responsibility is indicated. Favors from superiors and

subordinates will put you in good position. Hence this period will be highly favorable for your

over Leo from November 2006 till January 2007 and is again in transit over Leo from July 2007 till

Will it be wiser for my career if I relocate to Cochin. If at all I have to relocate when will be the

good time for that?

Analysis:

It would not at all be advisable for you to relocate to Cochin. As mentioned above, in your chart,

your 10th Lord Mars is positioned in the 12th house. This indicates a general dissatisfaction in

service, but the malefic effect will be very much less if you are working away from hometown.

This indicates that you will do well if you are stationed away from hometown. If you choose to

work near hometown, the malefic effect and the sense of dissatisfaction will be stronger.

During the last 6-8 months, my relations with my in-laws are not going well and often my wife

quarrels with me also. My in-laws are mostly staying with me for caring for our son. I am coming

under a lot of mental stress due to this. When will there be peace at home.

As mentioned above Saturn was in transit over Natal Saturn till July 2007. Rahu is at present in

transit over your 8 house. The combined effect has brought on a lot of mental stress. In your birth

chart, Rahu is positioned in the 4th house. This is not very auspicious for peace at home and

indicates quarrels and troubles at home. You should exercise patience till June 2009, when your

I have been living away from my parents for the last 14 years or more, except for the regular visits
