APS1 Probe simulator

AV30 Automatic air vent

Connections shall be available in screwed BSP / NPT, socket weld to BS 3799 class 3000, and flanged to DIN PN40 (BS 4504), ANSI 150 / 300, JIS / KS 10K and 20K. Limiting conditions shall comply to ISO 6552, with maximum body design condition rated to PN40, and maximum allowable temperature 400°C. AV45 Automatic air vent

Air vents for steam systems shall be Spirax Sarco maintainable bimetallic thermostatic type AV45 with forged alloy steel bodies and an integral stainless steel strainer screen. Connections shall be available in screwed BSP / NPT, socket weld to BS 3799 class 3000, butt weld to suit schedule 80 pipe, and flanged to DIN 2546 PN64, ANSI 300 / 600, JIS / KS 30K. Limiting conditions shall comply to ISO 6552, with maximum body design condition rated to PN63, and maximum allowable temperature 450°C. They can be made available with certification for body and cover to EN 10204 3.1.B upon request.

BC1100 TDS controller

TDS controllers shall be Spirax Sarco type BC1100 for the control of conductivity and TDS concentration in steam boilers. They shall be DIN rail or chassis mounted and be housed in an IP40 polystyrene case. They shall have set point potentiometer and LED indicators, coarse and fine calibration potentiometers, and a purge button to open the blowdown valve manually.

TDS controllers shall be Spirax Sarco type BC3100 for the control of TDS concentration in steam boilers and other related applications. They shall be DIN rail or chassis mounted and be housed in an IP40 polystyrene case. They shall incorporate adjustable set point and alarm potentiometers, main and fine calibration potentiometers, and a switched probe conditioning circuit.

BC3200 TDS controller

TDS controllers shall be Spirax Sarco type BC3200 for the control of TDS in large or small boilers. They shall be of the wall mounted type and be housed in an IP65 polystyrene case and polycarbonate cover. They shall incorporate a 4 digit LED display and provide a 4 - 20 mA output and high TDS alarm, and have a patented probe conditioning device.

BC3210 TDS controller

TDS controllers shall be Spirax Sarco type BC3210 for the control of TDS in large or small boilers. They shall be panel mounted and housed in a noryl (glass filled) case and polyester front panel. They shall incorporate a 4 digit LED display and provide a 4 - 20 mA output and high TDS alarm, and have a patented probe conditioning device.

BCV1 Solenoid valve

Solenoid valves shall be Spirax Sarco normally closed blowdown valve type BCV1 with brass bodies and stainless steel valve seat with a PTFE seal.

BCV20 Solenoid valve

Solenoid valves shall be Spirax Sarco normally closed, low pressure blowdown valve type BCV20 with brass bodies and stainless steel valve seat with PTFE seal.

BCV30 Blowdown control valve

Blowdown control valves shall be Spirax Sarco electrohydraulically actuated type BCV30 with cast steel bodies and stainless steel internals. They shall incorporate a spring closure mechanism on power failure, a valve position indicator, and an articulated valve cone ensuring a tight shut-off and correct alignment of the valve.

BCV31 Blowdown control valve

Blowdown control valves shall be Spirax Sarco pneumatically actuated type BCV31 with cast steel bodies and stainless steel internals. They shall incorporate an articulated valve cone ensuring tight shut-off and correct alignment, a valve position indicator and be suitable for outdoor installation.

BDV60 Blowdown vessel

Blowdown vessels shall be Spirax Sarco type BDV60 complying with the recommendations of BS 806 and Health and Safety Executive guidelines PM60. The vessel shall be constructed from carbon steel to meet all the requirements of BS 5500 category 3, including independent inspection during construction, and come complete with full compliance documentation to the user. The vessel shall be fitted with three inlets, one blowdown outlet, one vent to atmosphere, a residual blowdown drain valve, plus an oval inspection opening with non-asbestos gasket. The vessel shall also have connections suitable for a cooling water inlet, temperature sensor and a pressure gauge. The vessel shall come complete with lifting lugs and tripod feet as standard, and shall have an external silver Hammerite paint finish.

BM Self-acting valve

EL2270 Temperature sensor

EL2271 Temperature transmitter

EL2500 Plant room controller

EL2503 High limit relay unit

The mains supply shall be 240 Vac, with a separate supply facility to suit the valves' operating voltages. The controllers shall be able to receive an input from a frost thermostat to override the timer and begin the timing sequence. They shall be suitable to operate a Spirax Sarco KE type control valve fitted with EL 5500 series actuator with EL 5851 auxiliary switches and a KE pilot valve fitted with an EL 5500 actuator, and shall be able to relay a digital signal to a remote point to indicate the main valve is fully open. M410 Orifice plate flowmeter

VFM2000 Vortex flowmeter

Flowmeters shall be Spirax Sarco vortex shedding type VFM2000 with a stainless steel primary head and titanium alloy vortex shedder. Flowmeters shall be of the wafer or flanged design, be CE approved, and provide a 4-20 mA output signal.

VH Series vent head

Vent heads shall be Spirax Sarco type VH with austentic stainless steel construction and screwed / carbon steel flanges. Vent heads shall incorporate an internal baffle and a screwed drain outlet connection.

WCV1 Wafer check valve

Check valves shall be Spirax Sarco wafer type WCV1 with bronze bodies for insertion between weld neck flanges. Check valves shall incorporate a bronze valve disc and stem and an EPDM sealing ring as standard.

WCV2 Wafer check valve

Check valves shall be Spirax Sarco wafer type WCV2 with austenitic stainless steel bodies for insertion between weld neck flanges. Check valves shall incorporate an austenitic stainless steel valve disc and stem to WS 1.4301 and an EPDM sealing ring as standard.

WCV3 Wafer check valve

Check valves shall be Spirax Sarco wafer type WCV3 with austenitic stainless steel bodies for insertion between weld neck flanges. Check valves shall incorporate an austenitic stainless steel valve disc and stem to WS 1.4571 and an EPDM sealing ring as standard.

Specification guideWG2 Boiler water level gauge

Boiler water level gauges shall be Spirax Sarco type WG2 with bronze arm bodies, screwed connections and glass tube. Level gauges shall have three port bronze plug cocks and incorporate two brass protector rods either side of the glass.

WS4 Water seal pot

Water seal pots shall be Spirax Sarco type WS4 with a carbon steel housing and screwed / butt weld pressure signal tappings. They shall be used with Spirax Sarco DRV range of direct acting pressure reducing valves.

WV1 Solenoid valve

Solenoid valves shall be Spirax Sarco type WV1 with a full bore normally closed valve with brass body and screwed connections, complete with corrosion resistant internals and nitrile rubber soft seat. The solenoid shall be encapsulated and come complete with a IP65 cable plug.
