Ran 3 miles. Stretched before and after.

Commentary:

Went to Heritage Park and stretched. Then

we ran 3 miles. We stretched afterwards also.

Comment/Suggestions:

You need to focus on

controlling your breathing.

Slow you pace at first so

you have extra left in the

end.

Put new labels on finisher medals and sorted

medals per age group

Commentary:

Fourteen different age groups for 5K and

10K. Sorted them into male and female. Then

I put them in bins for awards ceremony.

Make sure you keep

medals in proper order.

We stretched legs, arms and back. We ran

through downtown Nelson.

Comment/Suggestions:

Stretch before and after a

run.

We stretched and ran seven miles. Then we

stretched again.

We stretched legs and shoulders. Then filled

up a water bottle for each of us. Started our

iPods and ran seven miles around Heritage

Park. Stretched when we returned back to

YMCA.

Comment/Suggestions:

Always stretch and drink

plenty of fluids.

Do not forget to log your

foods for each day.

I ran my 5K in 22:48. I stayed after to help

my facilitator and race director out with

medals and door prizes.
