the history of the Mint Julep is not well known, we do know that the first time it appeared in print was around 1803. Originally made with Brandy, the Julep`s nowadays are made with Bourbon.

1830 - Sazerac - New Orleans, USA 95

Dating back to the 1830s when a Creole Apothecary named Antoine Peychaud concocted a potent recipe at his pharmacy in the French Quarter. Peychaud combined his family’s secret recipe for Bitters with Cognac and began serving the drink to friends. this drink is a take on Whiskey or Cognac, for our cocktail we blend hennessy v.S. Cognac, Brown Sugar and Peychaud`s Bitters.

1870 - Manhattan - New York, USA 80

Also known as the “Drinking Man’s Cocktail,” the Manhattan has a much debated history but everyone agrees the drink was invented in nyC. Straight Rye Whisky, Martini Rosso and Peychaud`s Bitters are the timeless ingredients.

1890 - Mojito - Cuba 55

Supposedly, the drink’s name “Mojito,” comes from the African word “mojo,” which means “to place a spell.”, but Africa does not get to claim the Mojito as its own drink - that right belongs to Cuba where many claim it was crafted by slaves working in sugar cane fields in the late 1800s. Others say that in fact Sir Francis Drake takes honors for creating the Mojito as far back as the 1500s. Legend says that Drake prepared the first version of the drink using Aguardiente (a primitive version of rum), some sugar, lime and mint.

1900 - Daiquiri - Cuba 50

Invented by Jennings Cox manager of a mining company while entertaining guests , had run out of Gin and used local produce to mix up more drinks. Mixture of Light Rum, Lime Juice and Sugar.

the White Lady cocktail was first recorded in harry Craddock Savoy Cocktail Book in 1930, although harry MacElhone lays claim of creating this classic in 1919 at Ciro’s Club in London, by mixing Gin, Orange Liqueur and Lemon Juice.

1920 - El Presidente - Havana, Cuba 70

the drink has often been lamented as a lost treasure from the heyday of Cuban mixology, when thirsty Americans, unable to quench their thirst for great cocktails at home would sail from Florida to havana. While most people think of Daiquiris and Mojitos when they think of Cuba, there are quite a few great drinks that were poured for travelers – many of which have been almost completely forgotten. Perfect mix of Rum, Orange Liqueur and Dry vermouth.

1920 - Sidecar - London 75

the first recipes for the Sidecar appear in 1922, in harry MacElhone’s book “harry’s ABC of Mixing Cocktails” he cites the inventor as Pat MacGarry, the Popular bartender at Buck’s Club, London. Mix of Cognac, Orange Liqueur and Lemon Juice.

1930 - Negroni - Florence, Italy 75

Count Camillo negroni walks in to a bar, he asks the bartender to make his favorite cocktail, an Americano. With no hesitation he requests to replace soda water with Gin for extra kick. the bartender did as aked and added an Orange slice to signify the difference.

1940 - Mai Tai - California, USA 75

Originating from trader vic’s bar in Oakland, California, Mai tai , translated in tahitian means “out of this world” the Mai tai uses Bacardi Dark Rum as its base spirit, Almond Syrup and Orange Juice to give its legendary tropical flavours.
