From the editor

After planning an All Love magazine for several years, itis a great pleasure to finally bring you this first issue. The magazine covers all aspects of the SKHM energy, which Patrick Zeigler re-discovered following his mysti-cal experience in the Great Pyramid in 1980, and themethod of working with the energy which he has sincedeveloped and now uses in his workshops all over the world. It contains articles on SKHM and its history; interviews; personalaccounts and reactions to experiencing the SKHM energy, and photo-graphs from workshops and special classes. All Love magazine includes an international list of currently licensedSKHM teachers, which will enable those who are interested in attendinga workshop to contact a licensed teacher in their area or country. The magazine will be following the development and future evolution ofSKHM, and we will be interested to include material from anyone cur-rently involved in SKHM.I really hope you enjoy this first issue.

All Love, Michael Heemskerk

Hi, I would like to thank Michael for organizing and put-ting together the first SKHM magazine. Many people ask, what is SKHM? For me it is not just an energy but a wayof life. Each class I teach, I learn something new, andrealize that I am only seeing a fraction of what SKHM is.To define SKHM is to put a limitation on it; each person has their own expe-rience of SKHM and the energy becomes the best teacher. One of the rea-sons SKHM/Sekhem/Seichim has become so well-known is because eachperson can make their own unique connection to SKHM. Each person findsa facet that they are comfortable with, and it becomes a part of their life. This aspect of SKHM can become confusing, especially when one personclaims SKHM is this and another claims it is that. Just know that SKHMcomes to us through our own filters, and we experience it in a way we aremost comfortable with. Those that prefer to work with a pure energy expe-rience it as that. Those that prefer to have an intermediary, such as a guide or God/Goddesswill experience that aspect. The energy will come to you in the form you aremost comfortable with! We are highly creative beings so the possibilities areendless. We have the ability to create whole worlds in our dreams andvisions; there are no limitations, the only limitations we have are those thatwe put upon ourselves. We are at a time now in which group energies arebecoming more easy to access. Why is this? Because we are becoming clos-er to the group consciousness of humanity. Agreed, we still have so muchseparation, and we live in a world where there is still war, but keep in mindtoo that we also live in a world where there is a peace on the planet whichhas never existed on such a scale before.Communication world-wide is simply amazing. The internet has made theworld a much smaller place, where everyone can have a voice, and be asbig or as small as they wish. Each voice is expressed and heard, and whatis manifesting on this level is surely what is also possible on the Spirituallevel as well. And who knows, maybe some day we will not need the com-puters any more!

This Magazine will help build awareness and community. It is a big step forall of us.

“Even though mental, emotionaland physical healing do take placethe SKHM class is not recommend-ed for people currently being med-icated or have serious mental andemotional problems. The class isdesigned for mentally healthy peo-ple who wish to strengthen theirawareness to source”.

Online/phone sessionsFor those interested in learning SKHM, we are currently offeringonline/phone sessions; these sessions are required to become a SKHMteacher. Along with the sessions there will be intermediate support and theopportunity to work with others in the program. Each session is about an hour to an hour and a half and that also includesa follow up call. Once in the program you can feel free to email or call withquestions and for support anytime.A $25 annual fee is required to enter the program; this fee will include list-ing you as a member of our SKHM program so others can contact you fortraining sessions and eventually SKHM Teacher certification. The fee alsoincludes our New SKHM Magazine to be published several times a year. The cost per session is $100 (may vary from country to country). The distantsession will begin the Initiation process called a SKHM-Khet. After a SKHM-Khet you will be better able to help support others through a SKHM-Khetexperience though energetic resonance. It is recommended receiving a minimum of at least eight sessions and giv-

ing a minimum of eight sessions; facilitating others through the SKHM-Khetis one of the best ways to integrate and learn SKHM. Many people will openup to the SKHM-Khet during the first session; however, it may take up to 4or 5 sessions. The remaining sessions will help to integrate the energy morefully and also give support to help facilitate others through a SKHM-Khet(Initiation.) This part of the program is to facilitate distant healing and toconnect with the Shenu Meditation and to facilitate others through theInitiation process.Distant sessions are to complement three in person workshops, for SKHMTeacher requirements. These workshops are designed to introduce the groupInitiation process and to learn appropriate skills to facilitate and supportgroup energies. The workshops and distant training is required for SKHMTeacher Certification. Each part of the program can be taken independently as each personprogress within the program at their own pace. You are encouraged to begin teaching and sharing when you feel ready, asyou teach you will grow. The SKHM energy is the best teacher. For a list of Certified Teachers see page 15 of this magazine.

SKHM(Pronounced Saykhém)SKHM is the healing spiritual energy that theEgyptians used, and which was taught in thetemples of ancient Egypt. SKHM is channeledLiving Light Energy from Source. It is anotheraspect of the One source, just like Reiki. It wasrediscovered by PatrickZeigler while in Egypt.Just like Reiki, SKHM connects withSource, toestablish a healing in the Physical, Mental,Emotional and Spiritual Bodies. The energy isused to heal, and to stimulate personal devel-opment to reach one’s true purpose. The pres-ence of unconditional love is a very importantaspect of SKHM, and this differentiates it fromany other energy.Compared with other systems which work withenergy, SKHM is more a group-oriented energy. One of its great characteristics is that it seemsto support the development of each individualwithin the group, in whatever way s/he needsat the time. The energy not only enables newpersonal insights, but it also suggests to peoplenew ways in which they can begin to use theenergy. For this reason, the system has beenadapted and changed along the way by differ-ent people who have used the energy. Since Patrick re-discovered the energy in 1980,various systems and methods of working withthe energy have been developed. Seichim wasthe original name given to the system. KathleenMilner later adapted it and created her ownsystem, called Tera Mai Seichem, and variousother systems have now evolved, including IsisSeichim, Seichem, Seichim, and Sekhem, which use a variety of initiation methods anddifferent symbols. The many different spellingshave caused a great deal of confusion!SKHM is the system which Patrick Zeigler nowuses to connect and work with the energy. Heno longer uses ‘regular’ attunements, in whicha person’s energy system is altered to bring upa premature Initiation. Instead he uses whathe calls a ‘flowing meditation,’ which is more aprocess of allowing and guiding the flow ofenergy, then supporting the spontaneous initi-ation which may occur through a person’s owninternal process. When the energy enters aperson’s energy field, it tends to start shiftingany energetic blocks it encounters, and Patrickuses a variety of techniques to help the personbecome aware of these blocks and to identifytheir origin. Once they have been released, aspontaneous initiation may occur.Patrick feels that it is better to let the energyitself be the teacher; that way he doesnot place his own limitations on it.Even thoughit does have an Egyptian feel andheritage, he does not promote it as suchbecause that in itself begins to define whatthe energy is. Once it is defined, it becomesvery difficult to grow and expand.SKHM means Power in a spiritual manner, butthere are many other definitions, includingMight, Altar, The Natural Force, Vital Force,Vital Force Of Men, or any Spiritual Power orPsychic Force, Place of the Gods, God of theAltar or Habitat of the Gods, Place of Power.SKHM can be a beautiful addition to Reiki, orwhatever kind of energetic healing method youalready use.

In the Great PyramidPatrick traveled to Egypt in 1979 tofulfill a childhood dream of sleepingin the Great Pyramid of Giza. Patrickvisited the Pyramid and found asmall opening to the left of the King'sChamber wich had been created bythieves who had tried to cut throughthe wall surrounding the Chamber. The gate covering the opening was unlocked. Patrick did not knowwhere it led, yet he knew that this tunnel was where he would hide. After spending some time meditating in both the King’s and Queen’sChambers, Patrick left the Pyramids to prepare to come back the nextday. He began fasting and returned to the Pyramid the next morningwith a bag packed with what he would need for spending the night. He went directly to the tunnel, and when no one was looking, start-ed to crawl into it. The tunnel was quite narrow and tilted upward.Patrick soon found himself in a small carved-out room just above theKing’s Chamber, where he spent the entire day peacefully meditating. After the pyramid emptied of tourists and was locked for the night,Patrick came out of his hiding place and, with a flashlight in hand, proceeded to the King’s Chamber. He made his way to the granite sar-cophagus, discovering that when he bumped its side, it resoundedlike a very deep gong. He stepped into the sarcophagus and lay downon the stone base. As Patrick attempted to quiet himself, he heard abuzzing sound. Soon he recognized the buzz as mosquitoes, andfound that his feet, arms and face were the target. He rememberedpacking toilet paper, so got up and quickly wrapped himself in it,looking like a mummy as he lay back down in the sarcophagus. Safefrom the mosquitoes, Patrick was now able to become quiet and start-ed to meditate. In a short wile, Patrick began hearing thumping sounds that seemedto be footsteps coming up from the grand gallery. The sound kept get-ting closer, and he knew he had to stay where he was to avoid detec-tion.No one turned the lights on, and Patrick soon realized this wasbecause the sound was likely not human. This realization was sopenetrating that waves of fear came over his body, almost over-whelming him. Though he had been in dangerous situations before, this fear was different and was not going away.A presence thenentered the room and the thumping sound now pulsated throughoutthe Chamber. As Patrick looked into the darkness, a swirling patternof electric blue light appeared and hovered over him.Something insidetold him this was why he had come, and he went deep within his fear, reassuring himself not to be afraid.Patrick thought, “Do what you have to do,” and at that very instant, the light descended into his heart. For a moment, there was totalsilence, and Patrick wondered if he was still alive. Yet his heart felt soexpansive, and the sound now coming from inside of it was identicalto the one that had been in the Chamber. Patrick spent the rest of thenight in a state of peaceful bliss, meditating on the electric blue ener-gy in his heart as it swirled in an infinity or figure-eight pattern. In the morning, Patrick returned through the tunnel to his hidingplace before the Pyramid opened for the day. He meditated there untilhe felt it was time to come out and join with a group of tourists leav-ing the Pyramid. Patrick noticed he was covered in a glimmeringwhite powder and brushed off as much as he could. As he was exit-ing, he could hear the guards yelling at him to come back becausethey realized he had spent the night inside. Patrick understood theirlanguage and pretended not to hear them. As luck would have it, abus was just pulling away. He jumped on it and it took him right tohis hotel.Once he was safely back in his room, Patrick looked at himself in themirror, and for the first time realized the white glistening powder wasblanketing him from head to toe, just as if someone had dropped alarge bag of flour on him. He later learned that this powder is knownto be in the pyramids and is used in India to promote healing andspiritual powers. In the West, some call it white gold and use it toheighten a person’s spiritual vibrations.

Patrick's Story

What is Seichim? How would youdescribe it to someone who had neverheard of it before? I have read thebook ‘ALL LOVE,’ have found varioussources of information on the internet, and have also had it described byPractitioners and my own Teacher, butI would like to hear it from you. Well, for me it’s a personal thing, aprocess of self-discovery. For eachperson, it’s different, but for me itstarted out as a personal journey. Ithen began sharing it one-on-one,and gradually it’s grown to groups oftwenty-five or so. More and more peo-ple are taking a class; this monththere could be a group of one hun-dred people. We can’t get SKHM outthere more until we have more teach-ers; when more people become teach-ers, who knows what will happen.Atthe present time, there aren’t a lot ofpeople teaching what I’m currentlyteaching. There are a lot of peopleteaching the original form I taught avery long time ago – almost twentyyears ago – and that’s what gaveSeichim a name.

So has it changed as a result ofyourown experiences? It’s nebulous, isn’t it, because it’s evolving, chang-ing, expanding, all the time?Well, that’s correct, a lot of it doesreflect the experience that I am hav-ing at the time. I first began to workwith massage then one on one with

people after I took a healing class, butenergy healing doesn’t come with amanual.Start again by telling me what isSeichim?Well of course, you are pronouncing itmore like Seicheem, whereas actuallyit is pronounced more like Seihim. It’sgot a real guttural sound to it, that wedon’t have in our alphabet. Similarly, many people say Saychem, but actu-ally it is Sekhem; the vowels aremuch shorter. The word itself comesfrom an Egyptian source, from whichmany different meanings are derived, the simplest being power of powers. They didn’t really have a word forenergy, so the word power was usedinstead, from which a whole range ofother meanings arise. It’s similar tohow people now use the word Reiki, sort of the vital source of man, whichof course represents the power. Youknow when you come into the poweror energy. Nowadays, we use the word energy alot, rather than power. So when wetalk about power, people sometimesget a little confused about that, because power has come to be associ-ated more with an ego thing, which ofcourse was not necessarily the caseback then. The other meaning ofSeichim is a place, kind of like aShambala, where the Gods dwelt orwere created. There was actually alsoat one time a city of this name. I diddo just a little bit of research andcame up on the web with the ideathat this city was going to be reborn. So you can see that there is a wholevariety of meanings of Seichim, butfor the most part they are all con-nected to the energy, the life force, and that’s essentially how I see ittoday. So it would be in a class too, where we are connecting with ourenergy, connecting with our source, and from that, other aspects comeabout. A lot of people connect withguides, or sometimes other energyforms as well, but the main aspectthat I like to focus on in describing itis the connection to source.

And Source is another way of sayingGod?Yes, the reason I don’t necessarily sayGod is because God can mean differ-ent things to different people and thatcan sometimes turn people off. Andagain, you know that saying God

more than likely means male, andsome people can get upset about thatwhen God is included in the wholedynamic. Actually, of course, creatoris not gender specific, nor is source.

You were also saying to me last timewe talked that you saw Seichim as aprocess of self-discovery.Would youalso consider it to be a healing sys-tem?Well, it’s definitely a karma healingsystem. In the beginning, you know,it was for my own personal healingand then it started to develop intoworking with others. Naturally whenyou start to make a connection toSource, healing aspects come about,so healing is just kind of the by-prod-uct of connecting to source. You saw it initially as personal self-discovery and healing, so how did itcome about that it got ‘out there?’ Didyou get to a point where you felt itneeded to be shared and was nolonger just yours?Well, as I said, I originally worked onmy own, and then had very strongfeelings to study different forms ofhealing with different healingschools, one in New Mexico and onein California. It was through that, forinstance, I did a lot of body work, massage therapy, that type of thing,so that all dealt with healing andcomplemented the energy very well. When I was in the massage group inCalifornia, that’s when I began toshare it more and then it began totake off from there. The lady I initial-ly shared with, and taught, ended upbringing it to Australia and then toNew Zealand.

Interview with Patrick Zeigler

BASED ON A TAPE TRANSCRIPTTraversing the whispers of healing energy:

Practitioners of living light energy “Seichim.” Research Project in partial fulfillment of a Masters Degree in Social

Anthropology. Patrick Scott Zeigler

Patrick Scott Zeigler

Patrick is an internationallyknown spiritual healer who incor-porates the body, mind and spiritin each healing session. He has aloving healing energy which radi-ates from his heart, hands andvoice. He has studied HolisticHealing for over 25 years. Hisexperience includes living andstudying with respected healers, shamans and gurus in Arabia,Nepal, India and Africa. Patrick iscertified in Therapeutic Massage,Meditation, Yoga, ReikiMastership, Divine Unity andAdvanced Energy Healing. In1984 Patrick introduced to theworld an ancient healing methodcalled SEICHIM.

This was Phoenix Summerfield?Yes, Phoenix was one of the peoplethat initially brought it over, but alady namedDeepa Slater was probably the firstperson to bring it to Australia. Shestudied with a lady called MarshaBurack, a student of Phoenix’s.

Not too far down the tree from youthen?Yes, I kept in pretty close contactwithPhoenix and she shared thingswith me often, however, we never metuntil several years down the way, soshe kind of began to develop it on herown in different ways to the originalpeople. They were Reiki Masters, andthere was a lot of Reiki involved, so itbecame kind of an extension of Reiki. However, I would say that using it inthat way doesn’t utilise its full capa-bilities, in fact it quite often limits theway in which the energy is used.

You mentioned previously in relation tosymbolism, that you get to a pointwhere the symbols are no longerrequired? I understand that you beganteaching Seichim much like Reiki, andnow you don’t teach it that way. Canyou explain this?I only taught it that way for a veryshort period of time and then I beganto use visualisation with it, and that’snow developed even more. A goodexample is that Reiki uses a lot ofJapanese symbols or symbols thathave been handed down. Yet out ofthe whole Reiki set of symbols, thereis only one symbol that actually rep-resents the energy pattern, and thatis spiralling energy. The way I work isthat every image works with the ener-gy pattern itself. So you know, if yousee a visualisation of a flower open-ing, it’s sort of like the crown chakraopening; I use a column for the waythe energy flows in a straight line;and I use a cross until the energystarts to move and to rise inside. I’lleven use the ankh, which is a symbol, but is actually an energy pattern, bringing together the energy whichyou have brought down and the ener-gy of the earth. In some ways it’s likeone our energy centres, it is above thetop of the head so we can link betterthe outside and the inside. But thesevisualisations all represent ways inwhich the energy actually works, they’re not kind of a pictogram ofsomething else.

You mean as a Reiki symbol is?Yes. A good example is the Mastersymbol in Reiki, Dai Ko Myo. What itrepresents is “Great ShiningEverlasting Light.” However, if youdon’t know Japanese and you look atthe symbol, you would never figureout what that is trying to represent. Ifyou know Japanese, you can actually

see that oh, they are saying that it’sgreat, there is a shining symbol andthere is a light symbol, but the way ithas been used in Reiki doesn’t por-tray it as a Great Shining Light. Sowhat I end up actually using is avisualisationof a great light or you know, a greatsun, or a great star and visualise thatbecause that is actually the experi-ence you end up having, you knowyou don’t normally have an experi-ence of Japanese symbols unless theyare somehow projected to you. Andthis is of course quite common. A lotof people say, “Yes, I’ve seen this sym-bol before,” because people have pro-jected the energy to them as thesesymbols. If you are having a lightexperience or connection with source, you’re probably not going to havethese symbols come in, you will actu-ally see light and feel that; its going tobe a more of a pure energy experiencerather than seeing a bunch of sym-bols.

Tell me a little about the structure ofthe system. Traditionally, it was muchlike a pyramid; the system was taughtby a Master/Teacher and filtereddown; the student would go along andbecome a practitioner, then a Masterand then a Teacher. Now you areteaching it differently, so what is thevalid structure now?Yes, well instead of just having aweekend Master course, which tend-ed to be the way things were going, Ido feel that to really work with theenergy, and to understand it, takesalmost a year, and sometimes eventwo years. Of course a lot of peoplewant it immediately. You can come toa weekend class and really have an

incredible experience with it and con-nect with the energy, but you reallycan’t teach it and have a goodunderstanding of it; to do this takes alittle more time. So I’ve set up a pro-gram that allows teachers to comeout really knowing how to teachrather than just doing a kind of cook-book formula. Which in some waysReiki has evolved into the West, although it is changing now as moreand more people are getting back tosome of the older forms. But evenwith the Seichim, like you said, beingpassed on from one person to thenext, you are given a little recipe thatyou pass along and you can charge alot of money for that. But that’s notreally how it was intended to be used.So in the beginning it was just oneway of getting it out? It served its pur-pose. It’s out there; people havelearned it, and are using it. Now, weare reconnecting with a lot of thosefolks, because they have an aware-ness about it, and they are now get-ting a stronger depth to the energywhen they come back and take theseclasses.

So would you say that there is a validstructure - for people to come backand re-look at it?Well, in a sense there is a structurewe do use, you know, we provide acompletely different approach thanothers currently use. The class is notreally taught in a set structure; eachclass is very different, very unique. The energy flows in its own uniqueway for every class. Some classes, some things get taught, in someclasses some things don’t get taught. It just depends on the way the energycomes in. One of the reasons I recom-mend that people take three classesis that usually with three classes theyget all the pieces.

Three classes over a set period oftime?Three weekend classes. That’s justrecommended, it’s not set up likeReiki, where you have the 1st degree,

6

2nd degree, 3rd degree. I don’t real-ly give out degrees you know, thoughI do give certification that you cameto a class. Once you are able toteach, I do a Teacher’s level, brokendown into two different levels. Thisfocuses more on teaching skills. Some people are going to be able towork on-on-one, and others willhave the skills to work with a group, but the energy is not going to be anydifferent.

Patrick, do you find that most peoplewho come along to classes have acertain set of beliefs, for instance a belief in pastlife experiences, or a desire to healpast trauma? Is there a similarity inwhat different people bring along?Well, past life issues have becomeimportant in modern times. Sincewe have a connection with Egypt, wedo tend to bring in a lot of peoplewho have an interest in Egyptian-type things. As indeed I have alwayshad myself, since I was young. I feelthat that may very well have been apast life influence. However, I don’tput a lot of emphasis on past lifeinfluences in the class, and somepeople may be a little disappointedabout that. But we are not doing anancient Egyptian healing, we are notteaching the way in which it wastaught back in Egypt. People need tounderstand that the class is verymuch focussed on the here and now;we are using an ancient energy, butit is being taught with a very moderntechnique. But there is definitely aninterest in past life influences inpeople coming in. Just recently I hada lady call me who is very interestedin Egyptian-type healing; she feels aconnection to that because of herown past life experiences.

We talked a little about initiation asopposed to attunement last time, and

you mentioned an emotional, grief, fear model. Can you tell me aboutthis?Well, essentially an attunement andan initiation are a little bit different. With attunements, you get a taste ofthe energy, and you can pass themon from one person to the next; anattunement forms a kind of horizon-tal link from one person to another. What we focus on in the class ismore of a vertical link, so that youcan connect directly with source. Ahorizontal link does also happen, spontaneously, but the vertical linkmeans that you have a muchstronger connection to source, to thecreator, and therefore you have amuch deeper understanding of theenergy. Also, by not putting thefocus on an attunement process oron the lineage, you don’t becomedependent on your teacher.Initiation is something that no onecan really give you. You make a con-nection, we support the process andinitiation. In many other systems, teachers use an attunement becausethat’s the way they have learned towork with the frequencies of theenergy, and therefore everyone getsan attunement when they go to aclass. But it doesn’t always have tocome in the form of a recipe.

So initiation is something that peopleare aiming for when they come to aclass?Well many people come to have thatexperience, you know deep insideeveryone wants to make that con-nection with source, so one of thethings we do in the class is help toopen our heart to what we call AllLove because when we open ourhearts to All Love we make our con-nection to source stronger.

So the model is that you have emo-tions such as grief and fear, and

when you come through those toexperience All Love, you then make aconnection to source?Well, yes. All our emotions areattached and cycled. By going intothese emotions, you experience them fully, and that’swhen you come full circle into love. It’s like you’re not going to reallycompletely understand love untilyou experience grief or loss or anger, and experience love as well. All theseare tied together to eventually giveus unconditional love. A lot of peoplewill ignore some of the emotions thatdon’t feel good, and by doing that, some of the pieces are lacking, because the anger gives you thatfire, that passion that allows us tolove even more strongly, to lovemore.

Some practitioners take an eclecticapproach, utilising other systems inconjunction with Seichim. Why doyou think that is?Well, when people make a connec-tion to source, they are going towant to feel that it is unique; theywant to make that theirs in someway. Which is what we teach andencourage. What happens some-times is that, having made it person-al to themselves, people try to makea system out of it. But, generallyspeaking, working with our classprovides seeds for people. They mayend up connecting with other typesof symbols, some people even con-nect with archetypal deities andthen they start to say, ‘This is what Iam comfortable with,’ so then theycreate a system which will attractpeople of similar minds. But I tendnot to focus in on a lot of thatbecause again, once you start nam-ing the energy, you start limiting it.Like some groups out there, thatsay, ‘Oh, Seichim, the guardian ofthat is Sekmet, the GoddessSekmet,’ and another will say, ‘No,it’s Isis,’ and another will say, ‘No,it’s Quan Yin.’ So what they do isbreak it all down into groups, andactually, although all these peopleare having a very valid experience, there isn’t one single guardian of theenergy. It’s very, very flexible. The energy will come in any form thatyou’re comfortable with; for aChristian, it will come in the form ofJesus; for a Buddhist, it will come inthe form of Buddha. So, instead ofsticking to one particular archetypalform, I just keep it very generalrather than focussing in on one orthe other. In a class I may have onewoman who will say, ‘Oh, I seeSekmet” and another will say, ‘Oh, Isee Isis” and another will say theysee something else and it reallydepends upon what they are com-fortable with. I have one lady experi-

7

encing the whole thing with Angelsnow, that’s what she is comfortablewith.

Do you see the energy as a means ofremembering who we are, through aconnection to source? A couple of peo-ple have spoken to me about it, inconjunction with the past life aspect. Is this just another way of experienc-ing the energy or is this how you seeit? That’s a part of it, the All Love whichcomes from a Sufi tradition. They doa dance, we also do it in some of thiswork as well, where it is calledZikher, it is also spelt with a “D” –with the Arabic alphabet there aredifferent ways it can be translatedand also in Arabic they will pro-nounce their Zs and Ds differently, depending on the dialect.

So this is the dance of all love?Well, the All Love we work with, some of that work came from theSufis, who were in Egypt and in asense that energy that they wereworking with came from Egyptiantimes, so it evolved in their style. Now what I’ve done is kind of takentheir style and molded it back to aform that we are comfortable withand that I find most Westernerscomfortable with.

So, you said Zikher means …Remembrance, yes. You know, peo-ple do all this meditation, and spiri-tual work and everything, and some-how find God, or find enlightenment. In the Sufi tradition it’s there; all youneed do is remember, it’s that simpleto remember. You know that everynight we go to heaven; we go into anenlightened state every night, wejust don’t remember. So if you can’tremember, then just begin to allowyourself to remember, and everynight you will have that experienceand bring it back.

I have read about two other people,Elizabeth Haich and EarlyneChaney, who have had an initiationwhile spending time in the pyramid.Had you heard about other peoplehaving a similar experience to yours?Well definitely, I was interested in itbecause I had heard about Napoleonspending the night there and havinga vision, as well as possiblyAlexander the Great – I had heardthat this was something that hap-pened to them and so I was attract-ed to it. Other people have gonethere and had experiences as well. Not all of the people have come backand begun to teach what they expe-rienced, and not all have been ableto put it out there as I have. Ofcourse since my story and other sto-ries have come out it has attracted

others to do the same thing You dohear of people saying, ‘I had an expe-rience in the pyramid,’ or ‘I spent anhour in the pyramid and now I amteaching Seichim.’ You know, itspossible, that they are teachingsome form of that. However, withwhat I am currently teaching, myexperience in the pyramid is just avery small part of it, so those peoplecouldn’t possibly be teaching thewhole range of what I am doing now.I do feel that the early experience Ihad was what I call pilgrimage, andpart of that is that you’re developingalong the way. Before I went to the pyramid, I wasworking with the energy to a certaindegree. Going to the pyramid wassomething I had always wanted todo, since I was a child, and when Idid go, it focussed a lot of my aware-ness at that point in time; things allworked together, resulting in thatexperience. And a person can do thiswith other experiences, it is done inmajor religions. For example,Muslims want to go to Mecca, andwhen they go to Mecca, they have areligious experience; if you’re Hindu, you can go to a sacred mountain. Weput a lot of energy in these points oftime, and it turns out that when youreach them, you have a spiritualexperience. It has a lot to do withthat in the pyramid. I’ve had muchgreater experiences since then, youknow, it’s just not the pyramid, peo-ple can have that without the pyra-mid.

So it was really like a catalyst?Yes, the pyramid helped supportthat.

I have also read that during theEnlightenment, there were in facttours to the pyramid for that reason,it was quite a big thing during the16th century. No I hadn’t heard that, but I canimagine.

A lot of the Masonic teachings talkabout this.Yes, that is very true. A lot of itended up in England. There werevery strong Egyptian connectionswith the crusaders and Masons.

You have spoken about a few peoplewho were quite critical when yourstory came out and one lady in factdid a background check on you. Howdid you feel about that, did she actu-ally approach you and question youdirectly or was this all done behindthe scenes?Oh, she does a lot of stuff behind thescenes, you know, one particularlady has always been quite critical ofjust about anything I do but she wasthat way with everyone so I wasn’tcompletely singled out. What hap-pened was that she wanted to teachSeichim, and, because not everyoneknew that I was the one who hadstarted it, there was a kind of a vac-uum at one point. I wasn’t promot-ing or putting out large advertise-ments or things like that, so, manypeople thought that they couldbecome a teacher of this system.Even once I got onto the internet, which gave me free access to speakand let everyone know, there was avery, very small group of people, maybe three or four, who decidedthat they would try to say that I

8

hadn’t done the things that I said Ihad done. For the most part, theyweren’t very successful – mainlybecause what I had said was essen-tially true. I have never really metany of these people, you know, oneof them lives only two hours away, yet hasn’t ever spoken to me directlyor come to any of my classes. Almosteverything was done behind myback. One woman signed up for mycourse, my one year course andcaused problems in the class and itgot worse and so I had to ask her toleave, she just wasn’t getting alongwith anybody and also she didn’tpay me for the class, so you know, finally I said, ‘Ok, time to go.’

So can you tell me a little more abouthow it was that you got to the pyra-mid? I know that you were in thePeace Corp and you were even heldhostage for a time while in the PeaceCorp, sort of a story in itself I think.Yes, I think we’ll save that for anoth-er interview – but, during the PeaceCorp time, it gave me a lot of experi-ence of other cultures and it gave mea way to let go of stuff that was goingon with myself. You know, for fouryears of my life, I lived out of a backpack. I was able to meditate up toeight hours a day if I wanted to, usu-ally a minimum of four hours a day,so it gave me time to really work onmyself. During that time I took the opportu-nity to go to Egypt and I also went tomany other countries as well youknow. So it all kind of fit together asa whole you know, going to Yemenfor a while, which was a kind of iso-lated Islamic country and thenEgypt and then a chance to go intoZaire, Africa and eventually when Idid another two years, I went toNepal, spent time in India and thenin the Tibetan areas. Eventually Icame back and worked in the Sudanfor another year, for ‘Save theChildren,’ in the refugee crisis. So itreally gave me a wide, wide range ofexperiences, and I met many inter-esting people.

So you are not sure why you were theperson that had this experience, other than that it was really part ofyour own self-discovery? Do youhave any thoughts about why itneeded to be rediscovered? Is itbecause it’s not just something that iswithin people, but that there is some-thing they have to do?I think it is something that is insideof everybody and there are peopleout there teaching different methodsof self-discovery and this is one ofthem. There is a lot of transition ofthe planet going on right now inawakening.

So it does require some sort of actionfrom the individual?Well, it is the case of any personalgrowth, it requires some sort ofaction – whether it is action in“being” or not. For the most part, people tend to think, ‘Yes, I’m goingto look for something,’ whether thatis inside or outside of themselves.Self-discovery is a combination ofboth really. Well, yes, I guess, aphysical as wellas emotional thing. So what are thereasons you don’t promote yourselfout there, for people to see? Well, for example, Dr Usui ispromoted enormously, to the extentthat many people worship or evendeify him, and it may not have beenhis wish to be revered in this way,yet other people have taken the deci-sion for him.

So how would you want to be remem-bered, or how would you like the sys-tem to be remembered, in sixty or sev-enty years time?Well, I certainly wouldn’t want to bedeified! It’s interesting to see howother people have been kind of ele-vated after they have died. Look atVan Gogh; he wasn’t even respectedthat much when he was alive, butlook at his paintings now, they’reworth millions. People definitely getdeified along the way, and I can seethat even in a lifetime. When I was inYemen, I had a few little experiencesand then later on I heard aboutsome great American Guru that livedin the same area I did and found outlater that it was actually me! Butyou know, people like to deify peo-ple, you know, with statues all overthe place, Christ wouldn’t have

expected to see himself on crossesyou know, not that I am comparingmyself to them, but to use Dr Usuias an example, he probably wouldn’thave agreed with the way in whichhe has been deified in the Reikiworld. I think it is important for peo-ple to make the connectionthem-selves and work with the energy andyou know, you can respect yourteachers and all, but they are defi-nitely not Gods. You know, I’m a normal person. I ofcourse make my share of mistakeswith my life.

Is Seichim something that theEgyptian people are themselvesusing in modern times, or do youthink that it was lost to them too? A lot of this was very secretive andnot shared for the masses at all andthat is changing now. Now it is outthere for the people.

Is it something they are practicing inEgypt now?No, but I think there is a smallmovement growing and people areremembering and kind of having ithappen. I’ve heard that somebodywants to write a book about it. Butonce again, there might be anEgyptian who will see that this issomething that is popular inAmerica right now, or popular inEurope, and then say, ‘Well, it’sEgyptian, so I will become the experton it,’ and so you have to be kind ofcareful of that. The same thing is happening withReiki in Japan right now, all of asudden there are some experts inthe Japanese in the Reiki field thatdon’t actually have much moretraining than normal Americans butall of a sudden they are Japaneseexperts.

Do you see Seichim as part of yourlifestyle, part of who you are andwhat you do?Well, it has definitely been integratedinto my life and I hope that it can beintegrated even more.

But you wouldn’t consider it to be areligion? No, it can work with any kind of reli-gion. But it was never really meantto be a religion of any sort. So it’s ahealing system rather than a beliefsystem or religion? Well, as I said, any religion can use anything wehave in the particular system we aredeveloping; it’s just going to enhancetheir own system.

You don’t want to incorporate anyparticular image of a God orGoddess? No, we don’t culturalise it in any wayor deify it.

Q: What does Isis have to do withSKHM?

A: I can only give my hypotheticalreason. Most of the earlySeichimteachers were women. Thereis a woman named Deepa Slatterwho lives in Australia who is verymuch into the Goddess energy, andmay be the one responsible for theterm, she also had a student MaryShaw who also was an earlyteacher of Isis Seichim.By giving Source a female personali-ty it heightens the females selfesteem. And allows for deeper feelingof comfort and strength for manywomen. The same can be said formales and male deity images. While looking for Goddess role mod-els, Isis is one of the best. She isEgyptian and SKHM has anEgyptian heritage so the two werematched up and then it was calledIsis Seichim. Evolving out of thesame group also came Sekhmet whohas also been called the guardian ofSekhem by many.SKHM can take on any personality aperson feels comfortable and con-nected with with. For many womenthey are more comfortable with afemale deity, so this is what is expe-rienced.

Q: Patrick, how did the name come interms of spelling it, i.e., SKHM,Sekhem, Seichim, Seichem and allthe different variations.

A: You need to understand this waschanneled to me. Even during thechanneling, I kept asking Christine(Gerber) how it was spelled and shewould say it was SKHM. So when Iwent back and looked at my notes, Ihad "S E I C H" and then had an "I"

and then I had an "E" over the "I M"and I had written it about 4 or 5 dif-ferent ways. I didn't know myselfhow to write it. It started getting this"Say Sheem" type of pronunciationfrom T'Om. We were only together ashort period of time and really com-municated very little. It was mostlythrough mail. So when he left, hethen had an Indian teacher who hadheard of the word before, but theypronounced it "Saysheem." And theteacher told him of a group of peoplein India who practiced Saysheemand that's why he continued callingit Saysheem. Phoenix, I believe I think her pro-nunciation was a little different thatI think she called it like "Say Kem"....(Interjection by DianeShewmaker): "Say Keem" is whatpassed down to me...(back to PZ)Yes, I think "Say Keem" was how shepronounced it. I was actually on thephone with her somewhat, too, so Ithink she switched the pronuncia-tion when she heard how I would sayit. Again, the way I feel it is to be saidis "Se Khem" which is very Arabic. But I still even today say "Say Kem"because it is a lot of work to go "KH".We don't have the KH sound in ourlanguage.

Q: What is the difference betweenSEICHIM, SEKHEM, AND SKHM?

A: If you would like a very quick, andI mean quick overview here it is.Seichim was the Original spelling asI taught it. It was taught all by wordof mouth so sometimes Seichem wasused. The early versions were taughtwith Reiki. Sekhem was a differentspelling for "Life force energy" usedby Egyptologists and popularized byRobert Masters.

INTRODUCTION TO Q&A. When Phoenix (Summerfield) firststarted to teach Seichim, I gave mysupport and encouraged her 100%,I did not get involved with trying todefine what Seichim was or is, Ijust allowed it to be what ever eachperson found it to be for them-selves.Once I discovered the Internet, Ifound that there were may peoplediscussing Seichim and its origins. After joining in on those discus-sions, I was pretty muched flamedand roasted : ) Some of the folks, knew who I was and other did not.I enjoyed being anonymous, howev-er those days are over. A lesson Idid learn is that if I do not speak upand share the History of howSeichim was developed and what Iam currently teaching, someoneelse will do it for me. Each of ushave our own experience withSeichim and I do not wish to definewhat Seichim is for anotherperson. What I have found since being onthe Internet, how fast informationcan travel. Once I posted a verybrief sketchy history, it began topop up all over the Internet. I dofeel that much of the informationhas touched many and for that Ifeel very good about it. In somecases much of what I have writtenhas been misunderstood, it is notthat easy to express in written wordwhat has been experienced. I wasso excited about the potential of theInternet, yet quite naive about thevastness and wide varietyof peopleof the Internet. What I found wasthat for every few people who wereglad that I began to come out, therewere those who preferred that I wasin some far off Monastery in Tibetnever to be heard from. After allthey had already defined whatSeichim was for themselves andreally did not want to here what Ihad to say.I have met some reallywonderfulpeople from the Internet who wereinstrumental in supporting what Ihad to teach, together we all haveplanted the seeds of those mutualvisions, thankyou you know whoyou are. There have also been indi-viduals who have done their best tobe critical and antagonistic, that isall part of life and the duality thatwe live in.The one lesson that I have learnedthat I do not speak up and begin todefine SKHM in some form some-one else will do it for me.This is in many ways is a paradox, because once SKHM is defined itbegins to add limitations to what itcan become.

With Patrick Ziegler

I choose not to use the spellingSekhem as not to cause confusion.Several years ago I began to use thespelling SKHM it is simple andstraight forward and it's more trueto the original spelling. This changetook place along with the change inthe Structure of how Seichim wastaught.

Q: Do you consider this energy to bea form of Reiki? Or is it outside ofReiki?

A: I feel that through the connectionI made when I was in Egypt, I wasdrawn to Reiki because the Reikienergy and the structure aroundReiki was important for me to learn. They have been bonded together. The energies are as one. I don't sep-arate them. So if somebody comes tome and ask if I do Reiki, I say, "yes,I carry the Reiki energy." I don't sep-arate that out. If somebody wants aReiki master attunement, I do give itto them and I let them know I don'treally do it this way anymore. I'll beglad to do it for you if you want thesymbols. I actually refer them toDiane Stein's book.

Q: What is your take on distantattunments?

A: It has been my experience thateach person has their own way ofreceiving the energy best. Some peo-ple tend to prefer the distant attune-ment while others prefer the in per-son ones. For those that have taken a SKHMclass they are aware that myapproach to attunements haschanged considerably since Seichimwas first introduced. Early attune-ments were based on a Reiki modelthat used symbols, each symbol rep-resenting a new degree. This systemcreated a dependency on a masterattuning the student to each newdegree or facet. I really had to askwhat is really going on with thisprocess. In the end their were a fewindividuals who claimed to be theonly ones who could attune others tothese facets, this has brought aboutmuch of the disharmony within theSeichim community. Each hadclaims that theirs was a higher fre-quency. The conclusions that I havecome to except is that it not so muchthe "Master" that holds the higherfrequency, but the receivers abilityto be able to receive it when they areable to receive it. There are severalfactors involved in the process which

I now call a SKHM - khet, whichmeans SKHM in the body. The first just the willingness toreceive. Trusting is a major factor aswell. If a person does not trust theteacher then the attunementprocess may be hampered. Thistrust has the same factor as towhether an attunement is an in per-son or distant attunement. If onedoes not Trust the distant attune-ment then there experience will bedifferent from an in person attune-ment. There has been much discus-sion on many Reiki boards over thevalidity of distant attunements. Wedo know that many people have hadgreat success with them. Hey, ifsomeone can have a miraculoushealing by watching a TV evangelist, why not receive an attunement? For me it come down to the individ-ual being trusting and having faiththat it is all possible. I have come tolearn and experience that anythingis possible, this leaves the door openfor a miracle to happen sponta-neously.

Q: What is the (real) difference

between an attunement and an re-attunement.

A: A re-attunement reinforces theneed for another attunement. In many situations a person may feelthat the attunement that theyreceived may not have worked or haspossibly worn off. This is a commonfeeling that a percentage of peoplemay experience from taking a Reikior Seichim class. Unusually there iswhat I would describe as a bell curveeffect that takes place during aclass, out of a group there is a smallpercentage of people who tend tohave a very strong connection to theenergy. After taking one class thereexperience is so strong, they feel it istheir destiny to teach. Then there is the majority of the class that usu-ally have a great experience; andcontinue for some time, however, continue to search out other meth-ods and classes. Then at the bottomof the bell curve there is usually atleast one person who feels that theclass was a waste of time, or quitepossibly may have left the classearly. This is a typical class dynamic. Thepercentage and amount of the curvevaries from one class to another.

11

Usually it's the folks in the bottomhalf of the curve feel that they justdid not get it and have been con-vinced that quite possibly that theirteacher may not have done theattunement correctly. In the earlyyears of Reiki it was taught that if you showedanyone the symbols or did notcharge the specified amount youwould lose your Reiki. Currentlythere are also teachers who claimthat if you are attuned to anothersystem you will then not be able tochannel the energy that their systemsupports. Therefore a re-attunement would benecessary. Their is some truth to allof this, especially if that is what youbelieve. Once the element of doubthas entered into the consciousness, the student will have a difficult timeaccepting what is possible and may not applyhim/herself enough to know whatworks and what does not. The key to energy work is to use it.Keep using it, and through experi-encing the results you will no longerfeel the need to have someone dic-tate to you or confirm to you thatyou have it or not. The energy it'sself will become the teacher. Suretaking attunements and learningfrom others experience is importantand otherpeoples experience maybring about a great deal of "inspira-tion"; see it as that.Getting back to the re-attunements.It has been my experience that whata person experiences is very muchdependent on that person receivingthe attunement. During a class aperson is prepared somewhat whatto expect and for the most part thatis what is experienced, in some casesa person will allow themselves toexperience more than what is expect-ed and in some cases the attunementis not what they were expecting. Itreally is a very interesting dynamicthat takes place. On one side I wouldsay keep getting attunements untilyou feel absolutely sure you havegotten it, then on the other hand justtrust you have it : ). In both cases realize that it is alldependent on you and your ability to

receive. Q: I see that you work with the lotus(shenu and meditation) so where andhow exactly did you include the lotus, because it is not part of your pyramidexperience, and maybe it is a part ofsome other system?

A:The Lotus is an integral part inEgyptian Symbolism relating to anew awakening. During a SKHM-

Khet (Initiation) the crown feels likea flower opening to the light. The best way to describe the rela-tionship between the Lotus and thePyramid is expressed in the SKHMScepter Shenu. The SKHM Scepter Shenu repre-sents how the Universal White Lightpasses through the Pyramid and istransformed into a RadiantSpectrum of the Rays. This is theessence of SKHM.The Pyramid represents theUniversal Trinity; The first Creationof the Rays. The Lotus represents the CrownChakra opening to receive the Raysas they are radiated into our being.

Q: I read somewhere that you weregiven the "ALL LOVE" mantra fromthe Sufies you trained with after yourPyramid experience?

A: The Sufis did not speak english. The Mantra that they gave to me wasAllah repeated while I focused onShiek Brahanis Image. I told themthat I was not interested inMeditating on a man's image. Afterthe discussion, which I suggested heagreed that meditatating on the lightwould a suitable subsitute.Afterwards as I was meditating thewords shifted from Allah to All Love. This helped me have a much clearerfocus on my heart center and wasmuch more effective.

Q: What is Sufism?

A: Sufism is the Mystical branch ofIslam. For the most part the Sufiwas consideredto be the Hermit out in the desert. The word comes from the Arabicword for wool. Sufis typically hadonly their wool robe. Much of whatSufism is today is a deeply devoted, and what I would call a more openminded offshoot of Islam. I first metthe Sufi's when I was in Cairo, I hadspent the night in the great pyramidand the following morning I was leadto a Sufi group by a travelingGerman woman. I was still havingenergetic effects from my experiencein the Kings chamber and what theSufis had to teach was a wonderfulcomplement. My personal feeling is that much ofthe Mysticism from the Sufi Groupthat I stayed with had come froma very strong ancient Egyptian her-itage. The only way for any spiritu-al/healing practice to survive wouldbe for it to integrate with Islam.

12

Q: I am very interested in Sekhem, and have received some attunements. However, I'm not sure about thismantra 'all love.'Where does it come from/ how was itarrived at as the mantra for Sekhem? What does it mean?I don't resonate with it at the moment.I'd like it explained to me a bit moreplease. If I don't like it, is there anothermantra I can use to get similar resultsfrom the meditation, etc?:)I like 'Sa Sekhem Sahu'

A: I have found that Love and theheart is the best form of meditation. The key is actually feeling the feelingof love when you say it. If it is just amantra where it is repeated, I wouldnot expect it to resonate with manypeople. We do a 2 day class and atthe end of the class most people real-ly become that All Love.If you connect with 'Sa SekhemSahu' by all means use that, butreally take a close look at what it isyou find attractive about it.You will find that the form of Sekhemthat I teach is not similar to many ofthe other forms out there. We do notput a strong emphasis on certaincultural practices or a particualrGod/Goddess, That does not meanthat you will not experience them, asyou will experience what you aremost comfortable with. Of all thewords in the world "Love" may be themost recognized throughout theworld, yet it is probably the mostmisunderstood.

SKHM TEACHER PROGRAM

I would like to introduce our SKHM Teachers Training program. At the core of our program is experience. I feel thatdirect experience is the best teacher. For the most part SKHM is not a lecture based class, but more developing a strongrelationship with the SKHM energy itself and allowing the energy to become your best teacher. Our SKHM teachers playmore of a support and facilitation role. It is through this support that allows a person to feel comfortable enough toreceive a SeKhem-Khet “Initiation”. True Initiations come from within, when an Initiation comes from an outside influ-ence, it will sometimes create an unhealthy dependency that will keep the person looking to the outside or to someoneelse to provide the next level. Once a person wakes up and realizes that they already have the spark within and throughtheir awareness they can ignite the flame within they feel much more confidant in being able to make a direct connectto source and support others in that process. One of the major keys is opening the heart to All Love.

Currently our Teachers program involves experiencing at least three SKHM classes and giving and receiving eight ses-sions on a personal level. It is through these experiences a person will make a natural connection to the energy. Theywill also see first hand how each person makes their own personal connection to the energy. The key is to learn howto create a safe place. Our program currently is tailored to each individual and that way it does allow an individual togrow at his or her own pace.

Our SKHM teachers program allows each individual one on one guidance and experience to support the group Initiationprocess as well as conducting one on one personal support and distant support for healings and Initiations. We do seeeach person who is involved in the program as part of our SKHM world family.

SKHM workshops template

The workshops consist of 2 consecutive days and times are usually from 10:00-17:00. Each SKHM class is unique. The template of the class is to allow theenergy to flow in a natural flow without following a set schedule. Next is a typi-cal outline of what may happen in a class; because of the experimental natureof the class, the following elements may be included or omitted.

It’s not easy to write about SKHMwithout limiting it’s beauty andpower by using the mental energy ofthoughts and put them into words.Every expression I can think of feelslike not enough, not really tellingwhat my heart wants to say, neitherwhat my mind can understand. I amgoing to give it a try anyway. It is mydeep wish to touch you, somehow, with the lovely energy of All Love, toshare this Love with you. About a year ago I had my first expe-rience with SKHM during an amaz-ing workshop with Patrick andMichael. After that I had been talk-ing to my friends for months aboutthis experience and when a few ofthem tried it for themselves theysaid to me: “You have been telling usso much about it, but in fact we did-n’t have a clue. We understood yourwords and your enthusiasm and wesaw your happiness, we thought wenew, but we new nothing before weexperienced the SKHM – energy forourselves.” So SHKM can’t beexplained, it must be experienced. After my third SKHM workshop now(addicted? Yes!) I think to myself:‘Hey, you are starting to come a littlecloser to it… ’Don’t let this discourage you, youdon’t need time to let SKHM intoyour life or to benefit from it. It hap-pens on the spot, the very first timethe energy touches you, the relation-ship is there… love at first sight.Magnificent and maybe a little scaryat the same time. Relationships needtime to grow, need to be discoveredand sometimes we keep falling inlove over and over again. We comecloser and closer, but still this rela-tionship can feel brand new everysingle day. SHKM is always brandnew to me. In fact, this is what SKHM is allabout: falling in love with Love itself.Do you remember how it feels toreally, really fall in love? Everythingchanges, everything is fresh, yester-day is gone, tomorrow is great tolook forward to. You try to shareyour feelings with the world. Theysay: ‘Yeah, I understand…’, and youfeel : I’ll never be able to really shareit at all… and then the big silencecomes in and it doesn’t matter, because you just feel, just love, youjust are … fully, totally loving YOU. That’s what SKHM does to us: ithelps us to become more US. Surely SKHM is exiting – as a divinelover she makes us hungry for lifeagain. But at the same time SKHMwill be at our side especially whereour life is hard on us and hurts :

here she will comfort us like a moth-er, he will support us like a father, itcan be anything for us and anybodywe need. SKHM can be our teacher, our guide, our coach, our way to transforma-tion. It’ll challenge us to get upagain, to stand in our strength, to beour beauty, to show our truecolours, to go on, to be and do thebest we can, to become what we for-got to be, to grow into our courageand out of our fears. It helps to healus, to become whole again.SHKM is also a fully equipped clean-ing staff: it’ll clean up our emotionalcellar, and our mental attic,… no, infact we will do the cleaning all byourselves, but the support, the feel-ing of this strong presence of uncon-ditional, limitless love, helps us todo anything we couldn’t do withoutit. SKHM brings us any quality weneed: maybe patience or joy, harmo-

ny or trust, anything our heart couldask for. When we really open up tolet her in, we can go as far as blissand ecstasy. The more we invite her,the more we ‘get’ but what we getisn’t owned by anybody. We canshare it, vibrate it, but we can neverrestrict it or control it, for it knowsno hierarchy, no dogma’s, no rules.SKHM is a living energy and comeswith no manual, no limitations to gowherever our hearts need her to be. SKHM comes to us and for us,directly from source. But we alsocan recognise her in the eyes of peo-ple who know her intimately, we canfeel her in their hands, taste her lovein their supporting words, hear hermusic in the beat of their lovingharts. The well of SKHM is endless, waitingto hug us , inside out, with All Love. All Love.

Thank you for reading, All Love,From me to you.

The initiation:Yesterday a lot of emotions had comeloose during the SKHM-meditation,a lot of hurt on different places, butI knew I had not yet surrenderedmyself to the energy. It was very con-fusing for me. Underneath the feel-ings that you know, the hurt andpain, are the emotions that come outwhen you are not in control of your-self, with me that was aggression. And underneath that I found thereason for the problems I now havein my life, which is a lack of trust inpeople and a lack of trust in my ownjudgement. I also needed recognitionfor what had happened to me and Iwas searching that in the personwho had hurt me. Rationally I knewthat I would never get that from thatperson and I also knew that after thethings that had happened to me hadbeen become tangible, or spoken outby me, I needed to get recognition, otherwise I couldn’t deal with that. Iwas so scared and I hesitatedwhether I would come back the nextday, I felt so bad that night, and Icould not sleep. But I did go!

Sundaymorning we started with ton-ing. Michael felt it was important togive my hurt a sound. We made acircle and I stood in the middle, andeverybody helped me, it was hard forme to do that, they all toned with meen held me, and they helped me tomake a sound, after a little while itwent better. Graham was great, hewas standing in front of me, and Ifelt the vibration of his voice touch-ing something in me, and I startedcrying and it felt like my body wasfalling backwards, Michael said, that’s ok., just let yourself fall back-wards, but I was afraid to, everybodyhelped me and then I laid down onthe floor and Michael asked mewhere the hurt was, it was near myheart and he told me to breathe lightinto that area, to the hurt, then itstarted shifting, it went down to myabdomen. Underneath the pain, which was black in the form of a tri-angle, I saw lightblue water and thenit went up to my belly, I saw a lot, Isaw my father and my mother, allkinds of emotions went through me,I was feeling so cold and my bodywas trembling I think, I felt the ener-gy going through my body. YesterdayI had dealt with some of the anger I

felt, in the end I felt that against mymother and not against the one thathad hurt me. Yesterday I also felt atremendous fear near my heart, Isaw a chamber on the right of me, asort of wall in which a round entrywas, in it it was black and I knew Ihad to go in there, but I was afraidto, I had the sense that if I steppedinto the room I would fall down, unendingly. Yesterday I didn’t go in.

When the energy had gone to mybelly I felt all of the energy concen-trating there, it turned greyish-black, like a thundercloud and itwas turning and it hurt really bad,Graham felt the hurt in my belly.Every time I was drifting off andMichael kept talking to me I think, Idon’t remember exactly, I was sofocussed on the energy, It felled likeI was being dragged down by it, butwhen Michael called my name, Icame back, he told me to breathelight towards the pain and to keepcontact with the source of light. I didthat and then the energy shifted tomy heart and then all of a sudden Iwas in the room I couldn’t step intoyesterday, something or somebodywas supporting me in there and itwasn’t black in there, but purple, like the lake I had been in before.Michael asked what I saw, and I sawmy father and mother and my twobrothers standing in front of me.Michael asked what I wanted to sayto my father, but I couldn’t, I couldsay it to the group, but not to him,but everybody supported me.

Nino was holding my left hand andTheresa was holding my right hand,Michael kept talking to me and thenI just started screaming to him andsomebody, I think it was Loesja, asked what I wanted to say to mymother and I finally was able to sayto them what I had to say. I wasn’teven angry anymore, I just felt sosad, and for the first time I felt sorryfor everything that had happened tome, I deserved better than this, forthe first time I felt valuable. I don’tknow exactly what I had screamed, but it felt so liberating, I knew nowwhy I wasn’t able to trust people andwhy I had never trusted my ownjudgement. Michael told me to keepbreathing in light, but that wentautomatically, all of a sudden I felt a

huge stream of light coming in, goldcoloured and while that happened, something was changing in theroom, my parents and brothers, whofirst were standing in front of me,like a blockage were starting to driftaway from me and shifting to theleft, getting smaller and smaller, until they were very far away fromme, very small in size. After that Ijust felt so peaceful and loved bythat golden sun (God), that was fill-ing my body with light. I never feltlike this before, it was the most won-derful feeling I had ever felt. The group gave me a little space tolet me come to myself, Nino andTheresa were still holding my handsand I felt such a nice energy comingfrom them. I felt very safe and peace-ful.

The big difference between Saturdayand Sunday, is that Saturday I couldnot surrender myself to the energy, Istill tried to control it too much.Actually I tried that again onSunday, but I just couldn’t, It feltlike all of a sudden the energy hadtaken over, as if something touchedme during the toning and that madethe connection with the source ofenergy and then it just happened. Now, a week later, a lot has changedfor me. It has been rough, I felt sick, was nausea, and all kinds of emo-tions just went through me and Icouldn’t control that. Michael toldme just to let it happen and not toworry about it, so I did. I also feelreally great at sometimes. But mostimportantly, I do feel more secure.I can now place all the parts of thepuzzle, bits of memory, feelings, dreams and things I saw, and thatmakes me more secure of myself.During the initiation I had the feel-ing that I switched places with myfamily, and that was really impor-tant. I feel so much stronger. I neverliked to be touched or touch some-body else, or actually I was afraid to,but that’s gone after a SKHM-work-shop! I even miss that now, thatwarmth and feeling of trust. Also, where I used to approach thingsintellectually when I wanted to makesomething clear to someone else, Inow just say what I feel. As if thebreaks you normally have, out offear of being hurt, are gone. Thatfeels really good.I have a lot to work on still, but I feelI now have a solid foundation withinmyself, which will help me further, thanks to SKHM.

ALJ

The SKHM-workshopThe first time I came into contact with SKHM was at Michael’s place 4years ago. I can’t remember exactly what happened then, but I do knowthat I felt so much hurt around my heart and after that had gone, it feltlike I was standing in a deep lake and everywhere around me was thatbeautiful purple colour, so peaceful and comforting, that felt really great.

Wow momentGlad to hear from you, I woke upthis morning and the first thing Ithought of was I must check my mail(lol), being busy lately and not

checking my mail so much, I wassorry to read that a member of yourfamily was directly effected bySeptember 11th, as I am sorry for allthose that were effected.Well I have a story that will put asmile on your face. The day after Ireturned from Holland, I was sitting

at my kitchen table having yetanother coffee, when my daughter (21/2) started singing, ALL LOVE,chanting the exact way that we werein Holland, I nearly fell of the chair, had to scratch my ears I couldn'tbelieve what I was hearing. I saidnothing, and let her on her merryway. Three days later on theThursday off she goes again All Love. She hasn't said it since but I thoughtit was one of those wow momentsthat I will never forget.I will sit down over the next few daysand try and put into words theimpact Holland had on me, And youcan count me in for a return trip.

bye for nowBlessing of love and light

Domino effectI had some idea of what I couldexpect from the workshop but it hadmore impact on me than I expected. We started off with a meditation onFriday evening, where I felt a verystrong connection with a powerfulenergyI felt the energy coming from aboveand below en they both merged inmy heart! It was very strong entouched me emotionally. I had thefeeling of standing in a beam of light, like there was a sun above my head. The connection with the group wasvery strong, as if we stood togetherin the sun. The approach of Patrick Zeiglertowards healing really appeals tome. With Reiki I learned, thatthrough me I could give another per-son energy. SKHM is a method thatsupports another in his "own" ener-gy.It stimulates to retrieve the healingand strength from your self, and forme it feels like a very respectful andloving healing-method.The SKHM energy feels very warmand loving in a human manner. Afterthe first meditation I went home witha very "open" feeling, as if somethinghad touched me in my heart. And offcourse this was true.Patrick Zeigler also works with over-toning and I've noticed how impor-tant it is to give sound to my feel-ings.When we started to try the over-ton-ing in the group, I found out that ittook me a lot of effort to actuallymake a sound and I really had topull myself over a threshold. After a reluctant beginning I finally

I am often asked out the SKHM Initiation process and what to expect. It isoften best to let go of expectations there are many different reactions dur-ing the SKHM Initiation. No bells and whistles during an attunement aresomething that has been discussed often in healing circles. Early on, doingstandard “Reiki type attunements” I found that there was a percentage thathad a very deep reaction and a percentage that seem to have very little reac-tion. What I have found is that through the years, is that those people whowere more emotionally expressive or just more emotionally open would havea much stronger attunement experience. I also noticed that those with avery strong mental disposition, the results were almost non-existent. Earlyon I fell into the mental category. It was not until I participated in a NativeAmerican Sweat lodge that I began to make a strong connection to how theemotions help open a person up and feel, also at this time I also took somecourses in Alchemical Hypnotherapy. During that time I did quite a bit ofinner emotional work and found that by going inward and moving out of thehead and into the heart, my spiritual experiences increased. What was hap-pening was, that by doing emotional clearing, many old wounds and men-tal blocks were removed. I found if I was given an attunement at this timethe results were more consonantly profound and the energy would have adeeper healing effect. After many years of developing this method I haveincluded emotional clearing as part of my class and the results have beenmagnificent, almost everyone comes away from the class feeling a strongconnection to the energy and many have the most powerful spiritual expe-rience of their life. What I found was happening was people were havingwhat I call a true “Initiation”, meaning that they now could feel a strong con-nection to source. Initiations are in some ways like an orgasm, when you have one you know it. Each person has their own experience withan Initiation, for some it is quite gentle yet profound, while for others theyscream uncontrollably when the energy comes in. The main thing about anInitiation is when you have one, there is no question in your mind that youhad one, it will be one of most beautiful experiences of your life.

All Love, Patrick

got into it and, …what an amount ofenergy comes free! As if everythingthat's stuck in your body, is finallyallowed to come out. It gave me avery liberated feeling and because ofthat I had a better contact with mybody. The energy in the group was verystrong, and as a result from onehealing, one by one healings fol-lowed, like a domino effect.Everybody supported each othervery naturally and gave everybodythe space needed to feel what washappening. It felt very safe for me to be vulnera-ble, and the support of the groupwas very loving.I went into an issue with my fatherin which I succeeded (at last) to askhim what I needed from him. I reallywent into something for myself andafterwards I felt my own power andability to give myself what I need.It was a very special and most of all, loving weekend, and after the closingwhen I stood at the Tram-stop, I hadthe feeling I could embrace (hug) theWHOLE WORLD.So, ….really ALL LOVE!

Everybody in the group, Michael andPatrick, thanks, for this wonderful

experience!S.

My Fast, Short, Extreme,Meditation experience!(In Dutch he used the four letters ofskhm for every word: see Dutchlines.) Mijn Snelle Korte Heftige MeditatieervaringMy Fast Short Awsome Meditation -ExperienceI feel my blood-pressure rise and myheart is pumping in my throat. Ihear the iron wheels squeaking andbit-by-bit I am lifted upwards. Thepoint of gravity is in my stommagenow and at that point I am produc-ing some strange noises. At thatmoment I feel like leaving the cartbecause I'm afraid I will not livetrough this "ride". But it is too late, and before I can get a holdof something, I am whirling down atan incredible speed and at the sametimeI am going up again as fast as I wentdown or even faster.Mountains, flowers, people, colours, stars everything flashes by me likethe video clip of Madonna, Ray OfLight. I feel the adrenaline (or is itthe SKHM energy?) flying throughevery part of my body and I just haveto laugh.

The energy seeks an exit out of mybody and chooses my hands, whichtake on the most unnatural pos-tures! When I've finally survivedthree loopings and the "corkscrew", Igently fall back in my chair andawake with a big smileand a nice feeling in my abdomenafter one of the craziest roller-coast-er rides I ever experienced andwhich you are likely never toencounter at a fair. Are there anyother questions what SKHM energycan do with you?????

More insightsI enjoyed the SKHM weekend verymuch, it was great to be with thisgroup. There are a lot of things thathave changed for me. My feelingshave changed in a positive way, I feelmore. Also my intuition. I sleep a lit-tle better, more peaceful, before thisiI couldn't sleep that good. I havemore insights on how to do things, things that I want to change. But Ihave to work a little more on those. Also the things that are still inside ofme, that didn't emerge, I want tosolve.

A wonderful weekendWe had a wonderful weekend withPatrick in Holland. My head is some-times very hot, seemed like fever.I think, I am doing things more withmy heart. There is a feeling or some-thing like a sound very far away. Idon't recognize it yet. Sometimes con-fusing. Sometimes I feel wonderfull.....It was the second big spiritual experi-ence in my life. This initiation felt emo-tional and fysical. There is still thatfeeling, very beautifull in my heart

A very good experienceThe weekend was a very good expe-rience for me. The group was doing agood job, it was nice to be with thegroup. Everyone was so nice to eachother, they were as one. The thingsthat I've within me came bit by bitout. But I still have to work with thattoo get it out.

Extraordinary Weekend. Some reflections on my experiencewith the SKHM weekend!I have to start to say that PatrickZeigler is a very good teacher and aspecial man. He can show youthings about yourself that you hadforgotten about yourself (or wantedto forget). He leaves the choice toopen up and deal with yourself (on akind level) to you. His natural"fatherly" compassionate warmthradiates from him at such a levelthat it's nice to be in his presence. His expertise in working with, andmoving of, Emotional-energy isextraordinary, yet gentle! The toningand overtoning techniques and theway Patrick utilises these, make youfeel that you can use and createthem (which is the case) yourself.Nobody works with energy likePatrick does, at least not in Holland(the Netherlands) or Europe. The

energy that comes over and throughyou when Patrick makes the connec-tion to Source, and the Self, is some-thing you have to experience inorder to be able to explain it tosomeone else. The emphasis is on opening up theHeart-center and the connection toSource. A lot has happened. A lothas been healed in all people whoattended the group. It has broughtme and the group, closer to our-selves. A truly, inspiring, education-al and "Healing" weekend!Everybody is still glowing, thanks!

Emotional vibrationDear Hosts, teachers and atten-dants/friends of the SKHM-work-shop,Apologies, apologies and apologiesfor my late contribution to this infor-mation/experience-site.First of all I wish to express my grat-itude to all of you for being therewith me. Especially I enjoyed the"togetherness" or as you may call itthe "all love"-feeling of this close andwarm-hearted group. On the first day I already felt thepositive warm attitude of all atten-dants and what struck me was thefact that before it all started thatevening I had a strong urge to holdthe person ,who later during the firstsession was in a deep emotionalbond with her mother. The secondday again a special warm-heartedday, when we were ‘tuned in’ myemotions were awakened by some-one who experienced an unwilling-ness to be born in this world almostat the same time I felt very cold andlost and I cried my eyes out while Ivisualised or better said I saw myselfas a small tiny light in the veryBLACK cosmos, awfully alone .Some time lateron I was guided bytwo Angelhands (two of my fellow-workshoppers) to the present andeventually I got this warm confortingfeeling. The bond of the groupbecame more intense, giving moresupport to each other. The third day was very exciting inthe extra-dimensional as well as inthe emotional capacity of each mem-ber of this particular workshop .After the initiating tuning-in my

deepest feeling of grieve were freedby a member who had the strongneed to come closer to her father andwishes to hold him. Being on thesame level of emotional vibration Ireally saw my deceased son andspoke with him, this experience gaveme many tears and later freedom. Iwas not the only one who had seenmy son also a fellow-workshopperhas seen my son, telling her that heloves my wife and myself.During this day more members ofour group had similar experiences orfelt and saw themselves connectedto the ray of energy being present atthat moment in the workshop-room.The INFINITY- sign in thoughts andmovement gave us all that over-whelming feeling to hold the closestsoul in the room.Like fellow-workshoppers I felt that Icould embrace all present and manymore.

Love you all

A super experienceReactions on the August SKHMWorkshop with Patrick ZeiglerDear Michael, Patrick and all theothers who joined in the SKHM-workshop at Delft on August 4/5/6It took me some time to collect mythoughts, but now I feel I can lookback calmly on a most unexpectedexperience. I always used to think ofmyself as well-balanced and not

troubled by any traumas or blocks. If someone had told me a year agoeven that I would get involved withReiki and SKHM, I would havelaughed in his face. I was a staunchchurch-goer and saw no reason whyanything should change. Still, aboutone year ago, somebody told Anje(my wife) and me to have a look atNeale Donald Walsch's (Uncommon)Conversations with God and thiswas the beginning of a year full ofchanges. The book was a real eye-opener and it made us realise thatwe had become more or less auto-matic churchgoers and that we werenot really involved. There turned outto be a lot more to it. Soon after this our eldest son camehome with his first real girlfriendand she told us about her mother'sexperiences with Reiki. This too wasan eye-opener. We had been involvedwith energy-medicine in the shape ofhomoeopathy, but this was some-thing quite new to us. It appearedthat homoeopathy and Reiki have alot in common. For instance, thelower potencies work on the innerlayers of the aura, the higher poten-cies on the outer ones. We got so fas-cinated by all this that we bothdecided to take a Reiki course. Wehad been told that the Tera Mai typeof Reiki was a bit more powerfulthan the traditional type and sothat's what we went for. It turnedout to be a very good experience. Weboth feel it has given us more peaceof mind and insight into what reallymatters in life. On a physical level

we still feel that homoeopathy is astronger force than Reiki, though.Physical ailments seem to reactmore quickly to homoeopathy thanto Reiki. In June I took my Reiki IIand I must say it has greatlyenhanced the power of the energy Ihave been able to channel, especial-ly on the mental and emotional lev-els. People I have been treating tellme they feel more energetic, eventhough particular physical com-plaints sometimes have not reallyimproved. What helps a lot, though,is sending Reiki into the homoeo-pathic medicines! When Anjeshowed me a flyer Michael had senther about SKHM I felt I had to go forit. This seemed an opportunity toogood to miss. SKHM with PatrickZeigler, straight from the horse'smouth, so to speak! The bit abouttoning and overtoning especiallyappealed to me, because as a singerI experience a good deal of relaxationand energizing from singing Bach,Handel etc. This was the only thing Iwas a bit disappointed about: wedidn't spend as much time on this asI had hoped. Still, the weekend wasa super experience: I had a prettyviolent healing (just you read H.'spiece), saw my spiritual guide (whoafterwards told me the healing hadbeen most beneficial and that SKHMwas a very good thing for me to beworking with!), met a dear deceasedfriend from Scotland, had a wonder-ful experience on top of Ben A'an,overlooking Loch Katrine, was ableto be of some little help in a healingthat H. underwent, got to know abunch of wonderful people, learntsome more about meditating,sound-healing, the infinity danceand even found out that sometimesit's a good thing trains don't run ontime! Afterwards I found I was ableto weave SKHM and Reiki together. When channeling a distance healingI now feel a lot more warmth thanbefore. I really break out into asweat now! All in all I it was a greatweekend and I want to thank all ofyou for having been there, sharingexperiences and giving each other

ALL LOVE! J.An energetic exchangeReactions on the Vienna Workshop ofFeb 3/4-2001Many breakthroughs were experi-enced by all, myself included. I hadbeen carrying a very heavy feelingaround my heart, chest, shouldersand neck and by the time the work-shop was over, the feeling was

replaced with lightness and joy. Oneof many memorable moments for mewas at the very end of the workshopwhen Patrick had us stand in a cir-cle with our individual columns oflight and then form a group columnin the center into which we couldeach stand to receive healing. As Tmentioned, he went first and thenwhen he was complete and Patrickinvited the next person to go into thecircle, I jumped in right away aswhile T was doing his "thing", I hadseen in my third eye T and mestanding back to back holdinghands to bring in the light together.Wow, it was amazing! Quite an ener-getic exchange went on in he manylevels of the column of light bothgoing to the Earth and to Source, plus I experienced several newaspects of the column being openedthat are still with me

More to discoverReactions on the Holland workshop23, 24 &25 Feb.I should have written this reactionon the weekend yesterday, becausethat's how long my feeling of being inthe flow lasted. In the beginning of the weekend Ionce again realized my frustrationon being on this earth. I didn't wantto be here. Why, I didn't know.During the rest of the weekend I gotquite a few insights, answers, a wayto deal with my feeling. The visual-izations, the singing, the dancing, the collective energy, all contributedto the endless flow of love and light Ifelt in the end. The connectionbetween 'down here' and 'up there'was repaired. I can't wait till the nextworkshop. I feel there is much moreto discover in me. That's what thisweekend has brought me: insight, hope, love and light.

No limitationsSKHM Weekend 23,24 en 25February 2001Arrived a bit late (flat tire) at theSKHM workshop, which I was goingto do for the second time. Again itwas very interesting and especially Ihave the feeling that I understandmore about the energy thanks to theagain very extensive explanations ofPatrick.Patrick's way of working with theenergy is to support others to opentheir channel for the energy them-selves. This way is much more satis-fying for both parties. There will beless attachments, and the process ismore natural. Actually he would like

to be his part as small as possibleand stimulates others to find theirown way of accessing the energy andusing their intuition. Also he doesnot want to characterize the energyto much as this could create limita-tions onto the energy. The energycan come in any shape or form asyou please or are most comfortablewith, there are no limitations.Patrick has got some methods, which are very helpful. During med-itations it is not necessary to seeclear images and you can just letyour imagination and fantasy runwild, be creative. During a medita-tion which he talked us through, helet us visualise our DNA structure, remodel it in a part of our body ofour own choosing and then letting itexpand throughout our entire body. Not so long ago I read a article aboutsome research they did with somechildren in the USA and Japan. These children's DNA structure wasshaped in a way which was not yetbeen ascertained in any humanbeing. These young children not onlyappeared to be extremely gifted butalso immune for several illnesses. Iam getting sidetracked a bit here asthis research does not have a directlink to SKHM, but anyway, gettingback to SKHM I can only be glad tohave come in contact with this ener-gy. Two of the best things about it isin my view its simplicity (only onesymbol which contains everythingand no different levels) and the factthat everybody gets exactly whatthey need or are able to allow. AgainI would like to thank Patrick, Beverlyand Michael for their loving andcareful approach and furthermoreeveryone else present at the week-end.

So gratefulHere's my testimonial from theworkshop. Thank you again! Life'sbeen amazing.I cannot put into words exactly whathappened at the workshop, but Iknow I will never be the same, Mylife changed during that workshop. Ifeel as if I have a new body. Myaches and pains and heavinessaren't there. I feel as if I lost 100pounds of burdens. The deepamount of release work that tookplace is priceless. The peace I feel inmy heart mind and soul I can'tdescribe. I'm ready for my new life. Ifeel so grateful for everyone whoattended the workshop on mother'sday in Beaverton, Oregon.
