Recipe All American Mesquite Pulled Pork Recipe ○ 1 (8 – 9 pound) Pork shoulder ○ Jack Daniels Mesquite Marinade ○ Weber Mesquite Marinade mix ○ One cup of Whiskey ○ (Optional) slice up one Vidalia onion ○ ½ cup brown Sugar 1. Marinade: Mix Jack Daniels Mesquite Marinade, Weber Mesquite Marinade Mix, one cup of Whiskey and optional Vidalia Onion, in a bowl. Place onion slices in stock pot and place pork in and then pour marinade and place in the refrigerator for 12 hours, turning once or twice. 2. Set slow cooker to 225 - 250 degrees. 3. After 12 hours, take out pork, (save marinade) and then put the rub on all sides of pork. 4. Pour the saved marinade in a foil pan below the grate under where you will place the meat, you want to keep moisture in the cooker. 5. Place pork shoulder fat side up in cooker close the lid and let it cook. Again, 10 hours at 225 to 250 degrees. 6. After 10 hours take out and let set for half hour in foil pan. 7. Pull apart pork and serve. 8. Enjoy!
