provide discounted rates for tobacco-free members or members who participate in company sponsored smoking cessation program.

• July 2007: Implemented company-wide tobacco cessation program; removed 6 month limit of prescription smoking cessation therapies.

• January 2008: Open benefit; eligible employees receive $25/month discount.

• October 2008: Partnered with ACS to offer tobacco quitline to Walgreen employees and family.

• January 2009: Increased tobacco-free discount on employee health insurance premiums to $35/per month.
