When you are with a group of people and you don’t feel a connection to any of them so you go on your own.

Why do teens alienate themselves?

There are many reasons why teens alienate themselves.

One reason could be that they are trying to find out who they are becoming and need to have their own space

Another reason might be a physical reason, they can feel unsure/uncomfortable with the way they look

Loneliness. They lost someone or something and the only way they can cope with it is to be alone and deal with their own feelings.
