• Assigned seating --- students are assigned to a seating chart every 9 weeks.
• Transitions --- each class will be timed and compared to other classes.
• Cooperative groups --- 1-2-3 (timed)• 1-stand 2-move 3-sit
• Working in groups --- 1-leader, 2-materials manager, 3-reporter, 4-recorder
• Getting out of cooperative groups --- 1-2-3 (timed)• 1-stand 2-move 3-sit
Cooperative Group Procedures

4 roles per group:1. Leader
2. Recorder
3. Reporter
4. Materials manager
• 1 piece of post-it graph paper• 4 colors
Materials:• Materials manager has 1 minute to get all materials
needed then return to the group.
1. One piece of post-it graph paper
2. 4 colors/marker
1st operation:
Leader divides paper into 4 equal rectangles.Each group member uses a different color & writes/draws
a REAL WORLD example of an event that must be done in a specific order
example taking a shower, baking a cake, etc…
2nd operation:
The leader and reporter from each group will share/discuss the group’s posters
What is the importance of the order of events?
