ENGAGING CURRENT FANS

Although Alexisonfire is less inclined to engage their fans, that doesn’t mean they stopped.

Last Christmas they promoted a released a band box set that sold-out online in a mere 30 minutes. They sold a limited 1000 copies for $250.00 each.

They still sell music online and in retail stores

They’re doing pretty well for a broken-up band, still creating revenue.

During their time together, the band posted their news, ideas, photographs, videos and merchandise to their Facebook, Website and Twitter.

They shared and continue to share their music through YouTube, MySpace, iTunes and several streaming applications.

They continue to do all these things for their fans, yet at a slower pace.

THE 5 TIPS

Alexisonfire practiced and accelled at the 5 Tips when they were together, and even still when they’re split-up.

• They built an audience that turned into a very large & supportive fanbase

• They shared photos, retweeted fans and posted many meaningful, sharble contents online

• They connected with fans through Myspace, Twitter, Facebook and their website

• They engaged fans in online and physical social media. They posted flyers, hosted radio shows, created online videos, sold merchandise and music in retail stores and online
