GENERAL INFORMATIONBAR SERVICE

TAXI RANK

Beverage packages start at 5.30pm and finish five minutes before the start of the last race. Timing of the last race is confirmed Tuesday of the week of the event and can vary from 10-11pm Service of alcohol: (does not apply for non-alcoholic beverages) It is our responsibility to make sure all guests enjoy themselves. Your wellbeing and safety are our top priorities so please don’t be offended if we slow down the service or stop serving you alcohol. - We will slow down the service of alcohol to you if we think it is necessary to prevent intoxication.

- People who appear intoxicated will not be served alcohol and will not be permitted to remain on the premises.

- We will ensure that food is a substantial part of the event and that non-alcoholic and low- alcohol drink options are available for you.

- We will ensure that free drinking water is readily available at all times.

- At 9pm the bar will only serve two alcohol drinks per person and will no longer issue bottles of wine.

- NZ drivers licence, Passport or NZ 18+ card are the only form of identification accepted. No ID, no alcoholic beverages. We do not sell or supply alcohol to anyone under the age of 18.

- Intoxicated guests arriving at Alexandra Park will be turned away.

- Wristbands must be worn at all times- no wristband no service. Alexandra Park is committed to being a responsible host and to complying with the sale and supply of alcohol act. ATM FACILITIESAn ATM is located in the main foyer of the Function Centre adjacent to the main escalator.There are also cash out facilities in the following locations: - Top of the Park (reception) - Tasman Room (tote) - Hobson Room (tote) - Rutherford Room (tote) - Outdoor caravan - The Alex Bar & Eatery (bar side) - Lyell Creek (tote)

The after party will commence immediately after the last race in the Alex Bar and Eatery.The band will finish at approximately 1am.

Tickets will be sent out prior to the event date to the organiser’s address of choice.If you do not receive tickets the week of the event please contact 09 631 1165.Tickets are essential – no ticket no entry.

Access to Alexandra Park is through Gate D on Green Lane West.

- Parking passes are not required

- Parking is complimentary

- Parking stewards will help direct traffic to available parking spaces. If Carpark D is full, our parking stewards will direct traffic to our back carpark on Campbell Crescent. Complimentary Taxi Vans will be transferring guests to the function centre and back after the last race.

- Disabled parking is through Gate B in front of the main Function Centre. Alert parking attendant and display pass on vehicle dashboard.

- Cars may be left at Alexandra Park overnight and we have security at all times. However leaving vehicles is at the owners’ risk.

DRESS CODE

To Make a Booking or Enquiry Call Gabby on 09 631 1165 or email [email protected] Pencil Booking- Clients can pencil in a reservation which is held for 10 days. It is the client’s responsibility to contact Alexandra Park to confirm. - Table requests are taken into consideration, however cannot be guaranteed. All bookings are first in first served. A waiting list is created to help manage requests. Booking Confirmation- Once confirmed a booking letter will be emailed outlining the chosen package, date, inclusions as well as payment instructions. A 50% deposit is required 7 days from receiving the booking letter.- Failure to pay a deposit may result in your booking being cancelled. The venue is not required to send out reminders for payment. Deposit/ Final Payment- The deposit is based on the number of guests you have booked for. The balance for final payment is due one month prior to the event date along with final numbers.No refunds apply to number changes after final payment date unless we are able to sell your returned tickets. Guest Booking Numbers- We appreciate clients alerting us early to any drastic changes in numbers so we can make arrangements to cater for your booking or allow us to sell the non-required space. There is NO refund for bad weather. We race in all conditions- rain, hail or shine.

Security will be checking age on arrival if you look under the age of 25 years. Security has the right to refuse entry to Alexandra Park and to search your bags for prohibited items. Alexandra Park is committed to being a responsible host and we look forward to providing you with an enjoyable and secure environment
