Inter-House

Elocution Competition

The Pesi Khandalavala Debate Competition for the students of the Secondary Section was organized th rd

in two phases. The Elimination Round was held on 11 July 2019 and the Final Round was held on 23 July 2019, in the C. M. C. Hall of our school.

Miss Sheetal Tiwari and Mrs. Monica Rose were the esteemed judges for the Elimination Round and the Topics for the Elimination Round were :

st1. ‘Mobile Phones are the Best Thing of the 21 Century’- Proposed by the Jupiter House and Opposed by the Venus House.

2. ‘Schools and Colleges Should Compulsorily be Co-educational’ - Proposed by the Neptune House and Opposed by the Mercury House.

Venus House and Neptune House won the Elimination Round and went onto compete for the Final Round. Miss Khooshnum Davierwala and Mrs. Navaz Dubash Subedar were the esteemed judges for the Final Round of the Debate Competition. The Topic for the Final Round was ‘Social Media Should be Banned’

Lamiya Darukhanawala of Venus House was declared the Best Speaker and won The Pesi Khandalavala Debate Trophy.

Venus House was also adjudged the Best House at the Debate Competition.
