ANNETTE ALESSI Garnet Valley, PA Scenic Pastels Annette’s artistic ability emerged at a very young age of eight years old. She obtained an A.A. degree at The Art Institute of Philadelphia, majoring in Fashion Illustration. Annette studied with Karl Kuerner, a well-known Brandywine Valley artist who Wyeth. Her specialty's today include landscapes in pastels and oil, figurative works and children’s pastel portrait paintings. An active member of several art alliances, she also demonstrates her knowledge of art by teaching adult figurative and landscape art classes and workshops at Darlington Arts Center in Garnet Valley, PA and at her studio in Garnet Valley, PA. She offers private art sessions for both children and adults. Annette continues to share her art with local galleries and art exhibits. She is represented by Hardcastle Gallery in Centerville, DE, Chadds Ford Gallery in Chadds Ford, PA, Tyme Gallery in Havertown, PA and FireFly Gallery in Beach Haven, NJ. She is published in two books; "Best Of America Artists in Pastel" and "100 Artists of the Brandywine Valley".
