Solids Yes,they do. Yes they do.

Liquids No,they don´t because they adapt to the shape of the container they are in.

Yes they do.

Gases No they dont because they adapt to the to see the container they are in.

No they dont because they adap to fill the container they are in.

Mass:How much matter an object has.(Kg,g…)Volume:The quantity of space that an object takes up.

CHANGES IN MATTER

Physical changes:physical changes happen when matter changes shape and changes statebut the substance doesn´t change.physical changes can happen when we heat,freeze,twist,bend,stretch or squash a substance.

Chemical changes:chemical changes happen when a new substance is produced.Chemical changes can happen when we burn a substance or expose a substance to air.

A mixture is something that contains two or more substances.Air is a mixture of gases.Saltwater in the sea is a mixture of salt , water and many other minerals.Many rocks are a mixture of different minerals.We can classify mixtures as heterogeneous and homogeneous mixtures.In a heterogeneous mixture is easy to see the different substances.In a homogeneous mixtures it isn´t possible to see the different subtenses.

A resistant material is difficult to break,but a fragile material breaks easily.A rigid material doesn´t bend ,but we can bend a flexible material.An elastic matrerial returns to it original shape.Light can pass throught transparent material.Light can´t pass throught opaque materials.Water can pass throught permeable materials .Heat passes through heat conductors , heat can´t pass through heat insulators.

We can classify materials into natural materials and manufactured materials.Natural materials come from nature and can come from plants.animals and minerals.Manufactured materials come from nature materials wich are transformed in a manufacturing process.

If we take too many natural resourses,they´ll run out.This is why it´s so important to Reuse,Reuse and Recycle.We should try to reduce the amount of materials we use and the waste we produce.Buy products with little or no packaging,then put the packaging in the correct recycling bin.We can reuse plastic shopping bags.We can clean packaging such as boxes and jars and use them again.recycle means to make something new from something we have used.We can recycle paper,glass,aluminium,cars furniture and many mor things too.
