I was told that it is possible that this copy could be the very first pressing since this came from a retired Capitol employee who had a stack of them and the albums that were opened all had the Capitol logo on the disc! A first pressing is where the Capitol logo is on the disc.

025 AIN’T SHE SWEET MONO WHITE LABEL PROMOTIONAL ISSUE ALBUM (Atco 33-169) This is a very rare album that was issued in 1964 to capitalize on Beatlemania. The album has four songs by The Beatles with Tony Sheridan and eight songs sung by a group called The Swallows. Six of the eight songs sung by The Swallows are composed by Lennon-McCartney. The condition of the cover (comes in a standard cover) is a beautiful Near Mint condition and the PROMOTIONAL disc is in stunning Mint condition!! This particular copy is the best one on the planet!!

This is the first pressing because the title has raised letters and ticket graphics. The condition of both the cover and the disc are in Near Mint condition.

029 THE BEATLES VI ORIGINAL SEALED MONO ALBUM (Capitol T-2358) This is The Beatles VI album that was issued by Capitol in 1965. This fantastic Beatles VI Mono album is in the original sealed condition!! It is very rare to find this album still originally sealed!! The original price tag is still on the album!! The back of the album cover states “See label for correct playing order” so this is a first pressing!! The number by the RIAA symbol on the back of the album cover is a 3. This designates that it is an east coast pressing. The condition of this album is a beautiful Near Mint condition! The shrink is brittle but nothing to worry about. The lower left hand corner has a push from something that was lying on it. There is a staple that is on the back of the album cover due to the price tag being stapled to the album cover. This is typical of east coast pressings because some of the stores on the east coast did staple the price tag to the cover! The only problem with the album is that a small piece of shrink-wrap is missing from the front of the cover located closely to the bottom of the cover. This is just a really beautiful sealed specimen!! This particular title is very rare to find sealed!! In fact, of all of the Capitol titles this is the second rarest to find sealed!! There is one soft corner on the lower right. There is a hint of yellowing on the lower back Near the mouth of the cover. There is a number 6 on back of the cover by the RIAA logo which means that it came from the Los Angeles plant. This is very rare to find them this way!!

118 YESTERDAY AND TODAY ORIGINAL PEELED BUTCHER STEREO ALBUM (ST-2553) This is the Beatles Yesterday And Today album that was issued by Capitol in 1966! This is a third state Stereo “butcher” cover!! At first glance it appears to be a first state butcher cover! To get a history of this great album refer to the book on capitol albums put out by Bruce Spizer. The cover is 100% peeled with no tears!! What this means is that when the trunk slick was peeled off revealing the butcher slick it was a perfect removal of the trunk slick as the butcher slick underneath is 100% in tact. There is also no glue residue that is so prevalent with third state butcher covers! All seams and the spine are in true Near Mint condition! There are no repairs as is the case with many third state butchers; especially the Stereo version! The RIAA number located on the back of the cover is # 2. This makes this a rarer butcher cover as only the # 4 (Jacksonville plant) is rarer than this one! Overall the cover is in a beautiful Near Mint condition! The album comes with a Near Mint disc! Stereo copies are very rare to find in this condition as most have seam splits and wear! Fab indeed!

119 YESTERDAY AND TODAY ALBUM STEREO CAPITOL RECORD CLUB ISSUE (ST-8-2553) This is a super rare "Record Club" addition (black label version issued in 1968)!! I cannot express just how difficult this particular title is to find in fab condition!! According to Bruce Spizer these special record club issues are very difficult to find!! What makes this particular title special is that it could only be purchased via mail-order only through the Capitol Record Club!! The cover construction is different than your standard capitol LP's! There are three bars that appear in the upper left front of the cover & the serial is different ST-8-2553!! This very rare record club LP is difficult to find in any condition!! Both the cover and the disc are in very beautiful stunning Near Mint condition!! This is about as good as it gets!

144 THE BEATLES VS THE FOUR SEASONS SEALED MONO ALBUM (Vee Jay DX-30) This is an incredible original sealed example of this very rare VJ Beatles double album set! This album was issued in 1964. Both discs are Mint and the album contains the poster and VJ inner sleeves! Some albums did not contain the poster! This particular copy of this album is in beautiful Near Mint condition!! The cover has two pushed corners. The other two corners are sharp! The wrap is nice and tight all around. The shrink has a 2” split at the mouth to determine label variation. There are very few sealed copies that do exist! A sealed copy of this title is worth at least 4 x what a Near Mint copy is worth. An open Near Mint/Mint copy was recently sold for $5,750.
