• 2004 received a grant from Heritage Canada for just under $500 000 matching dollars over three years.

• to explore ways to improve language services for students in French as a second language.

• 2009- renewal of the Official Languages in Education protocal.

• Coming from the Roadmap for Canada’s Linguistic Duality 2008-2013

• to invest $938 million over four years in provincial bilateral agreements for minority and second language instruction.

circulate well considering that Grande Prairie is does not have a high Francophone populaiotn.

– The library’s total circulation was 487,126.
