2-3 Purple and Mr Benson are really excited about working together. We are
studying Australian Aboriginal heritage, natural features, manmade features and our
unique flora and fauna. We will also be integrating this Aussie theme across most
subjects including an art unit based on Aboriginal art.
2-3 purple will combine with 3-4 Red and 5-6 Green on Friday mornings as we rotate
through a combination of activities focusing on the fundamental motor skill of
throwing. Our writing focus is about constructing better sentences, correct
punctuation and using describing words to make our writing more colourful and
attractive to read.
Home reading has begun and homework begins this week. Homework will go out on
Fridays and will be returned the following Friday for accountability and marking/
rewarding.
