Supervised vs. Monitored
Supervised Lunch
• Having an adult in attendance with groups of students.
Monitored Lunch• Proctors ensure that students
do not visit lockers, access instructional or resource materials, discuss the exam, use electronic devices (including cell phones and Internet/email devices), or leave campus. Restroom trips must also be monitored. Student monitoring should ensure that students do not exchange information with those students continuing the test as well as those who have already completed the test.
