ALABAMA is in the Southeastern region of the U.S.A. with a population of almost 5 mil-lion residents. The State was once dominated by its agriculture interests, but since World War II an influx of heavy industrial companies have forever changed the makeup of the State. The capital is Montgomery where, in 1922, the first Lions Club in the state was chartered .

The 1964 V is somewhat smaller than the regular issue for 1964, as is the pin used for the cufflinks. It is a possibility that the smaller pin was made for cuff links and some were made into pins
