CONSTRUCTION

The gas spring on one side is so mounted on a roll that its

position varies within a web guide depending on the

inclination of the flap. So fi be friend them during the whole

adjustment always in an optimal balance position. Thus, the

effort remains equally low for opening and closing.

The force of gas springs is determined by the ratio of the internal gas pressure in

the cylinder and the cross-sectional area of the piston rod. By pushing the piston

rod, there is a compression of the gas volume in the cylinder and thereby an

increase in force exerted by the gas spring (progression). In this form, the values
