General Instructions:

1. Parents are requested to only guide their children while doing the assignments.

2. All the works should be done neatly and independently

3. Originality of the work will be appreciated.

4. Project / Homework will be assessed on the basis of neatness, creativity and

originality of ideas.

5. All the assignments should be submitted on the reopening day of the school.

6. The Art Integrated project as per the recommendation of the CBSE has been

incorporated in all the subjects.

ENGLISH

1) “Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the

most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of

In the light of this read the novel „A Christmas Carol‟ written by

Charles Dickens and write a book review on the same. You should

include the following points.

* Information about the author

* When it was published

* The plot of the book

* How do you rate the book?

2) Research on the minerals and energy resources found in the various

states in India and make a presentation on it. (Art Integrated project)

3) Prepare a short film/animated video on the novel „A Christmas Carol‟

based on the instructions given in class. You can refer the lesson

„Scrooge and the Ghost‟ in your Textbook.

How to do-

Make a beautiful poster depicting mathematical tricks. Use A3 / A4 size

sheet to prepare a colorful poster. (Note: You can use print outs for the

text).

Make a 3-D solid using paper folding (Eg: cube, cuboid, cylinder, cone,

pyramid, prism)

Use A4/A3 size sheet to make a net of a solid

Try to link it with structure of atoms, metals and non-metals.

The Project Report should be handwritten by the students themselves with

appropriate pictures with caption and comprise of not more than 15

(A4 size pages).
