INDUSTRIAL PROFILE
After liberalization of the economy in 1992, the Government of India has been quite supportive of
industry in general, taking many steps over the years for the conducive growth of business. These measures
favouring economic growth, are being continuously taken by the Indian Government, irrespective of the
change in power. The Government of India is endeavouring to achieve GDP growth of more than 7% in the
next 10 years. It is quite possible that plastics could grow at 14%, based on historical performance.
The Petrochemical Department of the Government of India is in the process of setting up a development
council to promote the development of downstream sectors in India. This clearly illustrates that the
Government of India is quite positive and supportive to new investments in India. In fact, many foreign
entrepreneurs have been able to set up 100% owned companies in India in the plastics processing and
machinery industry sectors. Foreign equity participation in the petrochemical industry has been increased to
a 51% stake (a majority stake). However, the polymer manufacturers and other downstream industries are
free to set up projects 100% on their own equity.
Established in 1970, the Gujarat State Plastic Manufacturers’ Association (GSPMA) is one of the leading
plastic manufacturers associations in the country, representing Plastic Industry at State as well as Central
level. At present, total membership strength of the Association stands at around 2000. GSPMA is also one of
the founder members of the PLASTINDIA FOUNDATION, an apex body engaged in the research &
development in the Plastic Industry throughout the country and dedicated to national progress through
plastics.
GSPMA is working for the cause of Plastic Industry since last more than three decades. GSPMA has
been engaged in the promotion of image of Gujarat based units in the country and has been functioning as a
major link between the Industry & the Government.
GSPMA is frequently organizing technical seminars/ workshops on various subjects from time to time to
update the knowledge of the members. As per our tradition, we are also organizing our Annual Seminar on
key issue of the industry every year on national level.
GSPMA had organized national level plastics exhibition/seminar namely, PLEXPO in the year 1979,
1995, 2004 & 2007. These events are considered to be the landmark in the history of GSPMA. The next
exhibition will be taking place in the year 2010.

We also participate in the national/international plastics exhibition from time to time. Till the date,
GSPMA had participated in PLASTINDIA’90, PLASTINDIA’94, PLASTINDIA’97 & PLASTINDIA
2000, PLASTINDIA 2003, PLASTINDIA 2006 an International Plastics Exhibition held at New Delhi,
PLASTIVISION’92, PLASTIVISION’95, PLASTIVISION’98, PLASTIVISION 2001, PLASTIVISION
2004 & PLASTIVISION 2007, national level plastics exhibitions held at Mumbai, Also GSPMA has taken
part in the plastics exhibition held in the various parts of the country like Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Indore,
etc.
GSPMA is also publishing its own magazine namely, PLASTIC SANDESH on bio-monthly basis. This
is the house journal of the Association, which covers important articles & information regarding Plastic
Industry over and above its regular features. GSPMA is publishing Directory every year to commemorate
the annual event covering very useful information pertaining to Plastic Industry. Both the publications are
having wide circulation amongst members and plastic community.

Mr. Mukeshbhai T. Donda who is the founder of this such a big organization the Rajvi
Extrusion Pvt. Ltd. story began in 2000. Mr Mukeshbhai primary education complete in small village in
nari at Bhavnagar. And after the completion of standard 8, he jumped in diamond business for some
time. But he leaves this business because he wants to do something extra. And he situated in Surat and start
first time in Surat furniture shop but in this he did not satisfy.
Then, he established Rajvi Extrusion Pvt. Ltd. on 4 th June , 2000 with a small industry at a stable
near Pipodara at Surat. The initial capital of Rajvi Extrusion Pvt. Ltd. was Rs. 48,00,000 his own
capital and not borrowed from Relatives and Friends. At that time company had only 4 employee
with handled and produced 7 to 8 different types of products. Rajvi Extrusion Pvt. Ltd. get certificate
for manufacturing in 2002. Mr. Mukeshbhai hardly struggle in manufacturing of PVC profile and they have
suffered loss in starting year.
Today Rajvi Extrusion Pvt. Ltd. introduce new and attractive profile using in the making of
furniture like Door, Windows, Kitchens, Cabinets, Wall finishing, Ceiling etc. This profile first time
introduce in market. The company sold the product in different state in India like Delhi, Hyderabad,
Pune, Bangalore, Ranchi and other city in India. The company is not sale the product only in India

Our Company was established in 2000 and our production capacity of Rajvi Extrusion Pvt. Ltd.s is 500
MT per annum and specialized fabrication & finishing facilities are established to execute large turnkey
projects for interior work and develop value added furniture & building products.

The time – keeping system is one of the important functions of an organization. This is for
regulating incoming and outgoing of employees. In this unit one separate department of time
keeping is kept for his own workers and not for contract based workers. The office of time keeping
is placed near the front door. The time officer also maintains the register for wage and salary.
The unit has accepted the signature system of time keeping. The signature system exists for the
staff members and card system for its workers who are unskilled.
In Rajvi Extrusion Pvt. Ltd., 2 Shift running and there supervisor Mr. Devendrabhai Kansara they
control whole system. In the time of staff member 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and time of worker 8:00
am to 8:00 pm and the company running 24 hours.
Process of employee in to enter of company 30 Minuit allowed to employee for coming and
late 2 and 3 hours then cut the half day salary. For lunch time give to the employee 1 hours and
for take holiday permission of manager is necessary.

Manufacturing process is an important factor affecting to the profitability of the unit. Each and
every company have their extraordinary manufacturing process. The company’s manufacturing process is

Raw materials are fundamental requirement for the production of any product or commodities.
The product efficiency is depended upon the availability of raw materials. In the manufacturing
process of the company only workers and machinery are not enough but Raw material also
necessary for the production of the PVC Solid foam Profile.
In the production of the Pvc solid foam profile, different Raw materials are used. In Rajvi
Extrusion Pvt. Ltd., the main Raw material is Pvc Regin and chemical (In the Raw material they
are mixing of Lubricant, stabilizer, calcium carbonate, vex, pigment, blowing agent etc.). The
company purchase Pvc Regin from Reliance industries Ltd. at Kandhar unit and all chemical import
from Roman & Hards co. At Germany.
This is the first and important step of the manufacturing process because without Raw material
we cannot do anything.

2. MIXING PROCESS
This is the second step of manufacturing Pvc solid foam profile. Raw materials do not
automatically become finished goods. It must be mixed in specific machine through specific process.
Mixing is an important stage in the production process because if there is any mistake in mixing
therefore product may be destroyed.
In the mixing process Pvc Regin and chemicals are mixed. In which 25 Kg Pvc Regin and 5 Kg
chemical are mixing. In Rajvi Extrusion mixing process is totally machine oriented. After mixing
whole mixing Raw material goes Pvc execution Machine .

3. HEATING AND COOLING PROCESS
After mixing the Raw material goes into semi finished goods, the next step is to make them
finished. This step is Heating & Cooling process. In this steps mixing Raw material goes in Cooling
& Heating plant for Heating and Cooling of Raw materials. In this process first give the Heating
to the mixing raw material, after give Heating the Cooling process is come. Both process are
different but both done in same plant.
4. DESIGN PROCESS
This step is very important compare with other step because in this step the design process will
come. After done Heating & Cooling to make design of a product. The design is essential because
design depends upon the different different consumers. The design given by Rajvi Extrusion Pvt. Ltd.
in various mode or shapes that the consumer’s need and wants.

5. FINISHED GOODS
After collective of Raw materials, Mixing of Raw materials, Heating and Cooling process,
Design, then the finished goods are done. In this steps products are ready to sales in the market.
Product’s quality, colour, durability etc. Are completely done well in these steps.

6. PACKAGING
Product packaging made by workers from a particular tap, this tap made from the proper plastic.
After plastic packing the finished goods are packed in a beautiful and attractive paper covers. And
at the last, the product store in the warehouse till the product is not sold.

production and finance which helped us to prepare the project. Hence after preparing the project we got
