1. Introduction The STREAMLINE

TM product range of treatment & examination couches, have been designed to

cover a wide range of disciplines, from simple examination to heavier manipulative and manual therapy techniques. The STREAMLINE

TM couches in this range provide ergonomic solutions to a variety of manual

handling issues, benefiting both the patient and clinician. These products can be further enhanced with a wide range of additional accessories also available. However, these products are not designed to be used as a bed and are not suitable for sleeping on. Always keep this Operating Manual available for ref erence.

2. Warnings & Cautions General Warnings

WARNINGS Warnings identify possible hazards in procedures or conditions which, if not correctly

followed, could result in death, injury or other se rious adverse reactions.

CAUTIONS Cautions identify conditions or procedures which, if not correctly followed, could result in

equipment failure or damage.

WARNINGS Electrical equipment can be hazardous. These produc ts should only be

operated by suitably qualified/trained personnel. This equipment should not be used adjacent to other electrical equipment.

If such use is necessary, normal operation of the e quipment should be verified by observation.

Medical Electrical Equipment maybe affected by port able and/or mobile RF communications equipment (eg mobile telephones).

Use only accessories that have been designed or app roved for use with this couch.

These products are not intended for Patient Transpo rtation. Do not use electric couches in the presence of flam mable gases such as

an anaesthetic agent. Maximum Load 225 kg (495 lbs) distributed evenly.

Do not concentrate weight on either side of the cou ch. Plug acts as a disconnect device.

Do not allow children to play with the couch at any time. Adequately supervise children in the proximity of t he couch.

The patient should not be left on the Couch unatten ded at any time.

CAUTIONS Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). This product complies with the requirements of

applicable EMC standards. The use of accessories not specified by the manufacturer may result in increased emissions by, or decreased immunity of, the equipment, affecting its

performance.

Do not exceed the specified duty cycle as stated on the Product Identification Label

USA only - To achieve grounding reliability, ensure that this equipment is connected to a receptacle marked “Hospital Only” or “Hospital Grade”.

3. Installation Adjustable Foot

Electric Models Ensure mains supply cable is not stretched when connected. Ensure, during couch use, no obstacles are in its path. Ensure hand / foot switch tubes or leads are not trapped by moving parts of the couch.

WARNING Lock castors before adjusting.

A) Lock castors first. B) Adjust foot. C) Lock foot by tightening half nut.

WARNING Do not insert the 2-pin mains connector directly in to a UK style, BS1363,

3-pin 13A mains outlet. Always use the adapter pro vided. Plug acts as a disconnect device.

Use adapter if UK style, BS1363, 3-pin 13A plug is required. (Order reference 5S0409Z)

CAUTION When not in use, switch couch off, by unplugging from the power socket/receptacle. Note that

models with battery back-up will still operate.

CAUTION

Do NOT Insert Hands or Feet into the Mechanism as this could result in serious injury!

5. Accessories – Operating Instructions Fold Down Side Supports Raised Side Support Lowered Side Support 1. To raise the Side Support when in the down position, lift and rotate towards you, through

180°. Once upright, push the Side Support downwards into the moulded block until located fully.

2. To lower the Side Support from the upright position, lift out of the moulded block, and

rotate through 180° into the down position. Paper Roll Holder

Cyriax Horns

Replace paper roll by:- A) Gently spring bracket out. B) Insert paper roll rod between brackets. C) Load paper roll and release brackets to secure.

Adjust Cyriax Horns to suit patient by:- A) Unlocking the locking knobs. B) Adjust position of horns. C) Tighten locking knobs.

CAUTION Ensure Fold down Side Supports are fully engaged into moulded block prior to use.

5. Accessories – Operating Instructions Arm Support Moulded Arm Support

Head Support Hole & Horn

Adjust Arm Support to suit patient by:- A) Unlocking the locking knobs. B) Adjust position of arm support. C) Tighten locking knobs.

To fit Horn into Hole:- A) Simply locate horn into hole. B) Ensure horn is fully inserted prior to use.

Adjust Head Support to suit patient by: A) Unfastening Velcro strap. B) Position where required. C) Fasten Velcro strap to secure.

Adjust Moulded Arm Support to suit patient by:- A) Unlocking the locking knobs. B) Adjust position of arm support. C) Tighten locking knobs.

CAUTION Ensure all accessories are fully tightened prior to use.

5. Accessories – Operating Instructions Fixation Rails IV Pole

Ensure straps are correctly located through fixation rails before use.

Locate IV pole into socket and secure into position using locking knob.

6. Cleaning and Decontamination Frequency of routine couch cleaning will depend on exact application. CLEANING / DECONTAMINATION Locate couch in a suitable cleaning area with castors disengaged or wheels locked. 1. Wear protective clothing: plastic disposable apron and gloves. 2. Disconnect any mains supply and lock couch wheels. 3. Control handsets can be wiped over using a 70% Isopropranol alcohol wipe. 4. Prepare a solution of warm water and neutral detergent. 5. Start at the top of the couch and work your way downwards. 6. Wipe over head end working towards mid torso. 7. Wipe over remaining horizontal patient surface, working towards foot end. 8. Wipe all horizontal parts under the patient surface. 9. Wipe all vertical parts under the patient surface. 10. Wipe over shroud (if fitted). 11. Wipe over all parts of wheels. 12. Ensure all parts of the couch are dry before re-use. 13. Safely discard cleaning materials. 14. Wash hands thoroughly. If DECONTAMINATING then repeat steps 1) to 14) using a dilute Hypochlorite / warm water mixture (10,000ppm) instead of warm water and soap. Put couch back into service.

WARNING Do not use Alkalis or other organic solvents for ro utine cleaning.

Replace torn or damaged vinyl immediately. Always cover vinyl with fresh paper or sheet betwee n patients.

If contamination is known or suspected always decon taminate couch before use.

Do not saturate hinge pin location and it is essent ial to ensure that they are dry before re-use.

Disconnect any mains supply.

7. Troubleshooting – Electric Actuator

If the problem persists consult your local AKRON Supplier. 8. Maintenance Check couch visually before use. Carry out routine servicing every six months or more frequently if in heavy use. Routine servicing or repair must only be performed by suitably qualified persons. Examine the couch for any signs of damage. Make sure that all nuts, bolts and other fasteners are tight. Do not over tighten as this may cause binding. Upholstery fasteners should be checked, tightened or replaced if necessary. Check section hinge pins to ensure that no pin protrudes. Check gas strut controls, throughout the full range of movement for locking and assistance. Check hydraulic couches for smooth operation and signs of leakage. Examine the flexible cables for cuts, abrasions, kinking or other deterioration and replace if necessary. Ensure that the power supply connector plug is securely attached. Check mains plug connections are tight and fuse (UK style, BS1363 plugs only) is correctly rated (5A).

WARNING Before commencing any maintenance activity, disconn ect the couch from

the electrical supply. Plug acts as disconnect devi ce.

WARNING All electrical checks should be performed by a suit ably qualified and

licensed electrician. Only the GREEN/YELLOW wire is to be connected to th e earth/ground

terminal of a three pin plug.

可调支脚

警告调整前请锁定滚轮。

A) 首先锁定滚轮

B) 调整支脚

C) 通过拧紧螺母来锁定支脚。

电气模式

警告不要将 2 相的电源插头插入 3 相 13A 的英国 BS1363 电源插口中，

请使用设备提供的适配器。

如需要请使用 3 相 13A 插头

在使用电动床时，确保移动过程中没有障碍。

4. 操作

锁定滚轮警告

在运送患者或者治疗之前请锁定床的滚轮/脚轮。

可伸缩的脚轮不能用于运送患者。

在放置床之前请断开电源并将电线远离活动部件。

头部 & 腿部折叠床段注意事项

可以人工改变靠垫的角度。

A 型 & B 型头部床段操纵扳手

A) 向上抬起扳手来选择床段角度。

B) 调整角度时将床段支撑住。

C) 释放扳手来锁定床段。

A 型角度= +800~-200 B 型角度 = +450~ -200 角度= +800 ~ -200

C 型头部床段操纵扳手




C 型角度 = +450 – 230

腿部床段操纵扳手




腿部床段角度 = +800 – 00

C 型头部床段手臂扶手

A) 朝头部床段倾斜手臂扶手。

B) 将手臂扶手移动到固定位置。

5. 附件 - 操作指南

可折叠侧边护栏

升高侧边护栏降低侧边护栏

1. 当侧边护栏处于下方而将其升高时，可朝您的方向抬高并旋

转 180 度。一旦到达直立位置，向下推动侧栏插入模块中直

到完全锁定。

2. 要从直立位置降低侧边护栏，从模块中拉出护栏并向下旋转

180 度即可。

注意事项使用前要确保折叠护栏已经完全插入到模块中。

卷纸架

安装卷纸架：

A) 轻轻打开弹簧架。

B) 将卷纸轴放入弹簧中间。

C) 将卷纸放入并释放弹簧。

Cyriax 扶手

将扶手调整至患者舒服的位置：

A) 释放锁定按钮。

B) 调整扶手的位置。

C) 将锁定按钮拧紧。

手臂扶手

将手臂扶手调整至患者舒服的位置：

手臂托槽

将手臂托槽调整至患者舒服的位置：


B) 调整手臂托槽的位置。


头枕

将头部靠垫调整到舒适的位置：

A) 打开尼龙扣带

B) 将靠枕放在需要的位置

C) 将尼龙扣带束紧

插槽 & 扶手

将扶手插入插槽中：

A) 先简单的把扶手放入插槽中

B) 使用折叠床之前要确保扶手已经完全插入插槽。

注意事项使用前确保所有配件紧固。

固定导轨

使用设备之前请确保固定带完全位于固定导轨之中。

输液支架

将输液支架插入插槽中并且使用锁定按钮将其锁定。

注意事项使用前确保所有配件紧固。

6. 清洁与去污

警告日常清洁时请勿使用碱性物质或者其他有机溶剂。

立即更换破损的乙烯瓶。

使用保鲜纸或者纸板将患者与乙烯隔开。

如果已知存在污染或者怀疑受到污染，在使用前请清洗设备。

清洗设备的频率取决于设备的正确使用程度。

清洁与去污将电动床的脚轮锁定并将转运床放在干净宽敞的区域。

1. 穿好防护服：一次性塑料围裙和手套。

2. 断开所有电源连接并锁定床体滚轮。

3. 可以使用 70%的酒精擦拭遥控器。

4. 准备温水与中性清洁溶剂。

5. 从床的顶部向下进行清洁。

6. 从头部向中间躯干部分进行擦拭。

7. 擦拭剩余的患者平躺表面部分，并朝脚部方向进行擦拭。

8. 擦拭床下表面部分。

9. 擦拭床体表面下方所有垂直部件。

10. 擦拭遮蔽罩(如果已经安装)。

11. 擦拭滚轮部分。

12. 在再次使用之前保证床体的所有部件干燥。

13. 安全丢弃使用的清洁材料。

14. 仔细洗手。

去污时请重复步骤 1) 至 14)，使用次氯酸钠/温水混合物(10,000ppm)来代替温水和肥皂。然

后床可以再次投入使用。

7. 故障排除 – 电动机

8. 维护

使用前肉眼检查转运床。

每 6 个月执行一次例行维护或者频繁使用后进行维护。

必须由经过专业培训的人员进行维护修理。

警告在进行任何的维护修理工作之前，请断开床的所有电源连接。

拔掉设备插头即可断开连接。

要检查电动床是否有损害的迹象。确保所有螺钉，扣带和其他紧固装置是否紧固。当然也不

要过紧，这样会造成捆绑束缚。

检查靠垫是否牢靠，如果需要可以进行更换。

检查铰链螺栓，确保没有针脚伸出。

检查支撑控制，包括整个移动范围内的锁定和支撑。

检查液压坐垫是否运行正常并检查是否有泄露现象。

警告所有电器方面的检查都应由具有专业资格的电工人员进行。

在三相插头上既不能将蓝色线也不能将棕色线连接到接地端子上。

检查电线是否有折断，摩擦损伤，打结扭曲或者其他损坏现象，需要时可以更换。

保证电源接头已经安全连接。

检查电源插头是否已经插紧并且保险丝额定值正确(5A)。
