Our history !Akela was established in 2008 with a keen interest in training development and innova@on support for its partners and customers. !One size for all !Today Akela has several key partnerships combining interna@onal exper@se and accredita@on with local knowledge and skills. !Commitment !Akela provides complete training packages and training courses, together with advanced training tools, simulators and courseware. We strive to offer best possible training opportuni@es for our customers.
PolluGon Response !!Our natural environment is worth protec@ng. The explora@on and industrial produc@on of oil and gas is a risky business. We at Akela assist in minimising the risks and provide training and support in case of accidental spills and pollu@on response.
We work closely with Lamor Corpora@on who are the leading global provider of spill response equipment and exper@se. Together with Lamor we can provide accredited IMO spill response training. !We can fit our training programs to best suit our customers needs and requirements. Our training assignments have taken us all over the world, from the ice regions to the tropics. We train governmental ins@tu@ons, oil companies and also various interest groups related to oil & gas industry. We also incorporate pollu@on response and environment protec@on in our oil & gas skills training programs. !
We deliver a dynamic approach to PPP projects, preparedness and training. We help our partners and customers to be successful in consistently developing winning PPP contracts. !We have unbeatable track record with the European Mari@me Safety Agency, EMSA. We help our partners in all aspects with the vessel availability and service contracts. Our concept approach has been successful in all published tenders since 2008.
Skills Training !!Training makes the master and prac@ce makes perfect. Competent training takes into account the industry needs and requirements and matches those with the skilled trainers, curriculum and courseware.
Since 2010 we have delivered a dynamic approach to training for the oil and gas and mari@me sectors. !Our training offering has been well received across the offshore oil and gas industry. !We provide competence for short technical courses, sea survival, work safety and specialist skills training. !!!

Training Tools !!Training is most effec@ve when it is performed in a realis@c environment. Appropriate tools and simula@ons are a must to create a realis@c environment, whether a stormy sea, a hazardous accident scenario on an offshore plaTorm or preparing for offshore oil well interven@on procedures.

Akela works closely with specialist companies providing simula@on tools and courseware for efficient training. Our training tools and simulators are used in a variety of training scenarios. Depending on the available budget and training targets, we can help determine the type of tools needed and also assist with establishing long-‐term training competencies. !Our aim is to deliver the most appropriate simula@on tools and also help ensure that the trainers have the competence to deliver qualified and high quality training. !
