AKA Day at the C a p i t o l : March 20, 2019 Your Seat I s at the Table:

So Take a Stand, Your Vote C o u nt s !

Greetings Sorors, The 2019 AKA Day at the Capitol is Wednesday, March 20, 2019. We will “Take a Stand” together in our Pink & Green Pumps at the Capitol. “We will “Take a Seat at the Table” with our legislators at the Connection luncheon to address the pertinent legislative issues that are prevalent in the communities in which we reside. AKA Day at the Capitol will allow sorority members to undertake specific actions as we connect with our state legislators by assembling ourselves collectively as one voice. The South Carolina Connection Committee is challenging SC chapters to fully support the 2019 AKA Day at the Capitol by attending our annual legislative day, The “Call To Action” to “Take A Stand.” Your participation is required to qualify for the awards listed. Additional information regarding these awards will be provided to the chapter connection chairs.

We will stand together for the Call! We will bind together for the Action!

& We will “Take a Stand” to make a Difference!

Together we will Accomplish All! Words cannot express our gratitude for having you join us to “Take Action" to” Take a Stand" at the 2019 AKA Day at the Capitol.

Thank you in advance. We are looking forward to standing with you! Sisterly Yours, Soror Joyce M. Williams 2019 AKA Day Chair [email protected] 803.530.6794
