Farmiloe Building / Clarkenwell / london
34, ST. JOHN STREET, London EC1M 4BE
360°
A retail experience for Habitat installed in the Farmiloe building.
The brief was to create a new shop concept for the furniture com-pany „Habitat“ which had it`s glory days in the 70s. it had a very unique concept to display the objects in a warehouse style which was later on copied by other competitors. Habitat missed to position their products on the market in a new and modern way. i researched the brand`s history and heritage and the reasons for it`s decline.
i aim to inspire people to look at the furniture pieces from a com-pletely differnt point of view and motivate them to see objects with it`s own story and independent existence. (work in progress)

(Proposal for the atrium)
SCETCH:
Proposal for the atrium in context with a model developed out of research of the brand.
a good room meets the requirements
in terms of ergonomics and the
functional aspect.
There is connection as well as
tension between all objects. They
coexist in harmony and proportion.
Chaos and simplicity go alongside
the adequate use of colour and
materials.
