employersATTESTING (showing) AIT required numbers of HOURS and MONTHS HANDS-ON work

experience in specific trade sufficient to comply AIT requirement? If not, how does applicant prove HANDS

ON WORK EXPERIENCE in his specific trade? No. We will call each employer and speak with them about

the work experience. This is why it is important that the applicant ensure they only identify the work they

performed at this employer’s business.

4. If our applicant fully filled out and signed Form Consent to Disclose Person Information and send to AIT

with the complete AIT APPLICATION PACKAGE, is our authority associated with .... to our TFW

It sounds like you are doing the right things, so they should have all the information needed to fill theapplications in properly. Please ensure they fill in the proper trade for which they have the appropriate

work experience and use the Alberta trade name.

We don't need employer letters as we do contact the employers they identify on the application. Thisis why they must provide us with accurate phone numbers for their previous and current employers.

You should ensure that they can read and understand English to an acceptable level as they need to be

safe on the worksite, safe in the community and need to integrate into the community.

As indicated, They do not need employer letters, nor do we need job descriptions, but they must identifywhat they were doing under Tasks and Duties on the applications. They must identify things theyhave done when working for each employer.

name and picture, and their signature page.

Very important is that they MUST have the required months and hours required for the trade inorder to apply.

Do you have someone assisting them to complete the applications in each of these countries, as it

becomes very difficult for them to understand the importance of completing applications properly even

with a sample as each trade is different, the duties are different, and the months and hours of each trade

are not the same?

If their applications are not completed fully, we do not accept them and we send them back to the

applicant.

AIT APPLICATION CHECKLIST

1. Did you fill in all sections of the application?

2. Did you sign and date the application in section 6, “Declaration, Authorization and

Acknowledgement”?

3. Did you provide the necessary information for your work experience to be verified, including landline phone numbers for your employers?

4. Did you include the dates of your employment with each employer?

5. NO LONGER REQUIRED- Did you include original or certified true copies of Confirmation of Work

8. Are all documents submitted with your application in English? If not, have they been translated into

English by an authorized translator (see section 4, page 4)? Are the original documents, or a certified truecopy of any original documents, attached to the English translation (see section 4, page 4)?

9. If you completed a formal apprenticeship program (like TESDA, etc.) in your trade, have you attached acertified true copy of the certificate you received on completion of your apprenticeship program and acourse outline or syllabus?

10. Have you attached a photocopy of the identification page of your PASSPORT showing yourphotograph, your full legal name, birthdate and signature?

11. Did you include the $450 (Canadian) non-refundable fee?

12. If you are sending a cheque or money order, is it made out to the “Minister of Finance, Government of Alberta”?

13. If payment is by MasterCard or VISA, has the required information been provided and has thecardholder signed in section 5, “Payment Information”?

14. Is the envelope in which you are submitting your application correctly addressed?

NOTE: You are now working with your current employers for a TERM as specified in your Contract. Said Contract of Employement

shall be in effect for a period of time (e.g. two (2) years contract) unless sooner terminated by either party after thirty (30) days

prior written notice. If you already obtain your Canada Visa/work permit in the Canadian Embassy where you LIVE you can now

notify your current employer one month before your intended exit.

REMINDERS:

For securing NBI Clearance please go the the Phlippine Consulate nearest you and ask them you want to apply for a NEW NBI

Clearance. You will be required to fill out an NBI Application form thumb marked and the completed Form will then be forwarded to

your spouse or relatives in the Philippines. That's your spouse/relatives authority on your behalf to get your NBI Clearance in the

Phlippines. It takes only few weeks to get your Clearance.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS: You will later required to submit your ORIGINAL PASSPORT to the Canadian Embassy for purposes of

attaching your CANADA VISA. BROTHERLY ADVISE: If you feel that you find hard time to get it from current employer please discuss

this to the Phil Consulate personnel (PHONE them first). Much better if you apply now for a NEW PASSPORT at the Philippine

Consulate. To do so, first you need an AFFIDAVIT OF LOSS PASSPORT from the Consulate Office. The Process can be done easily.

FAST-TRACK PROCESSES OUTSIDE THE PHILIPPINES

If you submit your application in country other than the Philippines We can SPEED UP further your application processes for Canada

due to the fact that we do not have to go through the tedious PROCESSES at the POEA, thus, avoiding from POEA bureaucratic red

tape - like documents processes by securing your OEC or Exit Clearance and our employer’s registration requirements for purposes

of getting job order.

Please be guided accordingly...

NOTE: We would like to remind you the PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE of submitting your application for Canada Visa/Work Permit in

countries other than the Phlippines. As we have mentioned earlier, in Canadian Embassy in the Phlippines there are a lot a lot of

applicants so because of BACKLOG or subra haba ang pila ng mga applicante doon kaya napaka tagal mag antay ng Visa - ayaw

namin matabunan ang papeles nyo. Kaya habang nasa labas kau ng Pilipinas samantalahin nyo yung napaka gandang pagkakataon

mag apply ng trabaho at makapunta kau ng mabilis dito sa Canada. As we have all known PROCESSING TIME varies from country to

country. Most countries, it takes only few weeks to get your visa. Thank you!

REMINDERS: To streamline our processes please consult your FCGS LIAISON OFFICER (LO) at your group for assistance. Group that

does not have LO yet pls recommend to us from among your group so that we will designate your official group LIAISON OFFICER.
