Operation of the bags

• One person per bag to keep eye on it• One person to work the controlls• One person to give the commands• The controller does not watch the

evelution, they need to look away from it.

• Up on blue, Hold on blue, Down on blue or the corresponding color of the hose to the correct bag needed to control.

Cribbing

• Always crib as the air bags pick up the object to be lifted.

• Crib in one to two inch increments• Never lift over two inches without

cribbing the object so it will not fall.

• Always listen for the command giver to give the signals and not the other members of the team.

Using extra bags• Always crib, don’t let bag act as the

vehicle stabilization.• Turn air valve off and unhook from

the control unit.• Hook up next bag and hoses

system.• Continue operation.• Always check and double check

cribbing during evolutions.

Air hose burst

• In the event of a hose break, unhook the hose from the bag and put your finger over the hole until the vehicle is stabilized with cribbing.

Protecting bags

• Never put on or use under a sharp edge.

• If needed use a piece of rubber bed mat, glove, coat or something to protect the bags from being cut or damaged.
