TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN This is to confirm that Ainur Imangali completed a 4 week (20 days) work experience placement with BBC Scotland on various dates between June and August 2016. During her placement, Ainur’s main duties were as follows: Scotland 2016 Researching news stories -gathering background information, briefing notes; News sourcing – emailing reporters and producers with news headlines, news stories of the day; Contacting contributors/setting up filming days, locations; Taking part in all general meetings; Attending gallery/editing studios; Taking part in filming for the programme with reporters in different locations in Glasgow and Dundee; Working with BBC Gateway, Jportal, News and analysis, Davina, BBC news portal. Reporting Scotland News gathering – emailing producers with news headlines, news stories of the day; Taking part in all general meetings; Attending gallery/editing studios; Taking part in filming for the programme with reporters in different locations in Glasgow and Edinburgh; Taking part and working with a team who did an overnight broadcasting of EU referendum votes counting; Working with BBC Gateway, Jportal, News and analysis, Davina, BBC news portal.
